I kinda understand Dany snapping. She went through all that misery. Losing her people, friends, allies and her dragons to know, in the back of everyones head, the throne wasnt hers. If she cant have it, no one else can.

Martin has an interview earlier in the season where he essentially stated he wished they had done a few more seasons.

that starts with of course Martin would want to lengthen things and make them take longer but ends with this probably would have made more sense if she had more then like three episodes to go from savior to mad king
