As for Umi's sudden 180, basically think of it this way: She's been so submissive because she's been trying to be someone she's not for all the wrong reasons. She's finally realized who she is, and has all that she could ever want.

Than you've got to take into account the fact that if she wants to continue to live her life with her new love and self, she's got to survive at all costs. Plus, taken into account that she's similar to Hinako in that she kept her true self locked up, now that she's finally free to do what she wants she's drunk on the aspect of freedom. Therefore, the sex serves no real purpose to the meaning behind her personality shift, it's just porn within the plot.

I'll have a couple updates for Scene 74 here in a while, but this whole scene is going to take several days to record, as it's probably the longest one yet.

Alright, here's the first couple of deals from Scene 74. Some of you may have already guessed, but yes, it's time for what happened in the previous scene to come to pass. Since this scene effectively marks the halfway point of this novel, I'll effectively call Umi the stories' Mid-boss.


Scene 74, Everyone VS Umi, START-O!

Continuing on with things, here's Parts 5 & 6 for you all; first Ryuichi's attempts to appeal to Umi to stop, and than later we have our group of Reiji and three ladies coming up with a plan.








Note: Hmm, for some reason it appears that the subs for Part 6 aren't wanting to show up, even though I know I put them on, and than proceeded to double check it. They should be showing up, but they aren't. I'm looking into it.

Ryuichi saving the day was pretty badass. I didn't think Umi's power was this broken, but replicating magical weapons at zero cost is pretty cheap.

Going from what we've seen so far, Valkyrie's hair is either a wig, or she's the person Reiji travelled with, but it seems unlikely Reiji doesn't recognize her, so it's probably a wig. There's probably two other people she could be.

Yeah, i noticed that the subs were glitching, finally got them working there. As far as Umi goes, yeah Galaxy Angel is fucking hacked. While I mentioned in the subs for part 6 that it can copy two or more, I meant to say just two weapons, so I may have to go back and change that. Still, it is op. As far as Valkyrie goes, I just wanna know what makes you think she's wearing a wig?

Alright everyone, now that the last part is finished I can officially say that Scene 74 is done! Check out Parts 8 and 9 in the above post!

Also, all I can say is I'm really looking forward to getting Part 75 out, so you had all BETTER watch that one when I get it out!

Lol, at the end parts, they started spamming S rank beams like no tommorow, and boy did Umi like combo attacks. Copied weapons disappear if she's not wearing her weapon, right?

Sayuki's appearance at the end and final blow was quite nice. Umi disappeared really quickly though, in comparison to others.

Wonder how Jin can defeat Valkyrie, just by knowing her love interest. Skipping the current round was pretty smart, though.

Well, for the next scene, I'm guessing either Odin appears, or we get some nice fanservice.

Yeah, the end there did become a bunch of ultimate spam, but that's what Sakura and Momiji had to do since Umi could do it whenever and as often as she liked. And yes, if she's not actually wearing her glasses (or can't see, as Judgement did) than yeah the copied weapons vanish.

Umi's end was fairly short compared to the others that have died so far, which does annoy me a bit, but what can you do. And yeah, Sturm Kreuz had me going "OH SHIT!" when I saw it the first time.

As far as Jin and Valkyrie goes, while he doesn't know who she is still, he does know her driving interest, so it seems pretty simple to deal with her, or at least it's fairly simple to assume it. I'd just keep my eyes on Reiji, she'll eventually make a move on him or something.

One big plothole that some may notice is that when Umi used Ryuichi's weapon to nullify Grimoire's sense stealing power, Ryuichi never though of doing the same thing. That part makes no real sense to me personally, and I just chalk it up to the fact that relying on Grimoire to disable people by stealing their senses is a VERY bad idea.
