Huh. Is there suspicions that Marvel is gearing up for something like Crisis on Infinite Earths and things will be more streamlined and alt. universes are getting the axe?

An interesting idea, but right now Marvel's busy with the Inhumanity event. Though Spider-Man 2099 will probably be an intricate part of Peter's return to the Marvel Universe. At first they'll probably be at odds since Ock was a dick to him in Peter's body, but it might lead to Peter eventually truly clearing his name and getting Miguel back to his own time.
Still curious about Cataclysm though. It seems like the Ultimate Universe truly might end! It's like if Galactus arrived on the regular Marvel Universe, but now Reed can't pull out the Ultimate Nullifier to save their asses. Hope Michael is able to make it out though. Perhaps even become a part of the regular Marvel Universe.
Though yeah, I can see a Crises on Infinite Earths-like story occurring considering how badly the space-time continuum has been fucked up, Angela arriving, Galactus tearing the Ultimate Universe a new one, the original X-Men running around, AND the whole Infinity event. A good purge of the multi-verse might actually occur, and the event might lead to Marvelman/Miracleman arriving!

He tore up the membership card when the Avengers tried to Court Martial him and just left when they were in the middle of debating. Also, he refused to join Iron Man's pro-registration forces during the Civil War. To him, Captain America seemed like a hero when he 'politely' told Moon Knight not to interfere with either side. Tony just seemed like an asshole.

Stop tempting me.
Does anyone like Carol Danvers, the new Captain Marvel. I really liked the 1st volume I read by Du Connick and it seems that a new book should by out featuring her.
She's okay, but I never really paid attention to her character all too much.
Anyone read Captain America: Man out of Time? It's a very good re-envisioning of Cap's first few days in the 21st Century. It really pulls the emotional strings because he sees so much has changed in the country he loves, he cannot go back to try and save Bucky, and his awe at how the American dream is living on. The first two issues are especially powerful, because Cap is in COMPLETE denial that he's in the future and tries to think of it as a dream. So much so that he hallucinates some of his war buddies or what things SHOULD look like to him. And when he realizes the truth he just breaks down for a bit... it's truly heart-wrenching.

Oh hey, a thread like that exists.
Damn Superior Spider-man and everyone who likes it, I haven't raged this hard at a Spider-man comic since that whole One More Day bullshit.
I can get why the concept was approved, since I was really impressed by Knightfall. But the way they did it I guess is what ticks people off, the whole switching bodies and Otto doing whatever he wants in Peter's body.
