That curry is a good approximation of Takeuchi's curry.
The pleats on the skirt are a bit wonky, and the lines around the fingers are a bit messy. The sweater also appears to cut into her back. Her arms also seem too close to her body, but that may just be because of the slightly distorted perspective.
This does shine in the expression though. It's very gentle and soft.
The hair detail is very good, makes it so much better in my humble almost a decent artist opinion.

I tried to draw sort of remake of one of her sprites, but couldn't find any pose reference to draw it better --' When it came to the fingers I got too lazy and sleepy and just called it a day

The hair detailing is great in this one. The facial placement and again, that expression are good as well. It's quite pretty.

I'm picking a palette for a comic, so far so good, and then when finally decided it's fine like this, turns out there is no yellow in. Closest are some beiges for skin tones. I wonder if it's fine to live without yellow. The idea sounds interesting-
