Essence of Lycao
Essence of Lycao, Father of Lycanthropes, an ancient demon of yore. Spawn of Echidna, Mother of Monsters, this ancient beast dragged itself from the cesspools of the legendary Outer Rim, were no human has ever trodden, and became a horror that fed on everything in its path. It procreated with dark, unknowable things, and gave birth to the monstrous progeny that would become known as the Therianthropes. And the werewolves, borne in his spitting image, were his favorites.

It hunted and hunted, gorging itself in all manners of victims, and finally he and his pack became something that even the Magi feared. It was him who dragged the First of all Survivors to the mad hunt that was his perdition. It was him who hunted and fought all the heroes of mankind, for the sole purpose of feeding on their flesh. Finally, it grew old in age, as it chased Linda Nichols through the Dread Swamps. It accumulated wounds as he fought Jessica Curtis in the Ashen Lands. It became tired as he pursued Patrick Wilson through the Frozen Wastes, only to lose an eye to him. And he survived all these hunts only to meet a solitary end in a dark cathedral, covered in blood, an end that perhaps was closer to a liberation.

Use this essence of a Great Soul to obtain a momentary burst of power, or take it to a Rishi Deva to give it concrete form.

Essence of an unknown Survivor
An unidentified human Essence that Lycao carried the moment of his death. Whoever the unfortunate owner of this Essence was, they were a relatively recent victim of his. This Essence must be identified if its owner is to be known.

Some say that Essences are souls, but they are most certainly wrong. What are, then, these shinning remnants of the dead? Fragments of a soul, perhaps? The shell? Mere cast-off remnants?

The only thing that can be said for certain is that only those possessing powerful souls have been able to leave an Essence after their death.

Use this essence of a Great Soul to obtain a momentary burst of power, or take it to a Rishi Deva to give it concrete form.

Echidnaborn Core
A strange hexagonal core that shines with an ominous green-blue tint. A vestigial core that some spawns of Echidna, Mother of Monsters, seem to carry within.

Fang of Lycao x2
The powerful fangs of Lycao, Father of Lycanthropes, who was capable of puncturing through metal and tearing through concrete with a single bite. These fangs are very sharp, and still carry within the strange sickness the Werewolves are known to inflict. Unique high tier material.

Rib of a Therianthrope
A strangely clean and impossibly durable rib obtained from a powerful member of the Therianthrope’s species. Just by touching it, one can feel a certain current of spiritual power and is able to tell it is special. A medium tier material.
