I-I can't even imagine dealing with over 100 layers in one picture... Isn't it inconvenient? Looking for right one, constantly switching. I believe this kind of excess fragmentation can also impair the impression of the whole image as a coherent entity.
I usually start to feel uncomfortable as soon as I no longer able to see all the layers in the list without scrolling, and get really annoyed when they reach two-digit number-
