Fate/Stay Night and Linux - sound issue

Hey, BL, my colleague has encountered problems with Fate Stay Night in that it doesn't have sound when run on Linux. I already suggested him that it's maybe because he didn't patch it with a sound patch, but is there a possibility that it's because a lack of compatibility with Linux, more particularly WINE?

I actually never tried to run it on Linux (and i don't intend to), but from what I'm reading, the first thing that comes to mind is indeed a wine compatibility problem.
Maybe try using another one ?
