I croaked. I croaked again. It didn't look like I was going to manage a response anytime soon.

Just as well though, I can't really hear him over this dripping.

As I looked forward, I saw smallish yellow standing in front of me, with a larger blue beyond that. I squinted. Could they be talking to each other?

"Even so, with my arrival, you can no longer touch him."

"Really?"

I could almost hear the grin. Even through the crashing drips, I could hear the fierce joy in that word.

"Let's see if your words hold up. RAGH-uh!? Why - can't?"

I looked at the masses of yellow and blue, rapidly approaching green. Like a heavy curtain, my eyes crashed shut.

Those voices. Tohsaka and a child? I pulled myself up to a sitting position.

"Oh. It appears I spoke too soon."

As I turned my head to look, I heard a squeak; well, not quite a squeak, but more like an-

Rin shook her head. How did Shirou ever expect to get along in this War? Here he was, sitting on the couch in what could very easily be enemy territory, and even his Servant was heedless of the danger he was in. He had even revealed his own class by mentioning a territory Speaking of his Servant, he was a bit unusual.

In an eerie parallel to Lancer, he had yellow hair, and wore yellow. Thankfully, his yellow was broken a bit by a stripe of white down his front and a red scarf.

He was obviously a child, and stood under 5 feet.

In any case, Shirou needed an explanation.

Shirou looked at her in confusion. Back out? That would put people in danger. He looked to his, Servant? It was a little difficult to call him that, even in his head.

Caster smiled back. It looked like things were decided then.

Shirou had a problem.

Caster was eager to please. Shirou was also eager to please.

This was the problem. Caster was competing with for all the household duties! He looked to the recently dusted floor. Caster may have beaten him to that while he was occupied with the dishes, but he had forgotten to mop!

Shirou stepped boldly into his room.

"Don't worry about finishing the floors, Caster! I'll get them."

Shirou worried for a moment that he might be enjoying defeating caster at something a bit too much.

"Ah! Master be careful, I already mopped the floors in here!"

Shirou paused. He had been sure that none of the floors had not been done.

"How? I have been here the whole day, and I would have seen you if you had grabbed the mop and bucket."

Caster grinned. With the fuzzy brown ears he had, the grin might have been feral, if not for its innocence.

"Oh! Now would be and excellent time to explain my powers specifically! First things first though, I absolutely did mop the floor in this room."
