Yeah long story short Furata’s plan stripped Kaneki of his MC status in order to pull off a Zero Requiem where Kaneki became the Zero of this plan without being aware.
Did I mention he became a dragon by eating everything in his path incliding the children ?
Whether you love him or hate him for this, Ishida knew what he was doing here and I applaud him for that.

I know that the series is called Tokyo Ghoul, but you'd think that ghouls would have an easier time living in countries with higher crime or death rates, such as the Middle East or even the US.
I mean there is mention of Ghouls in other countries, like Germany and iirc during Arima's dying exposition he mentioned the Washuu came from outside Japan, but I might be misremembering
