nope. sorry, i`m romanian,but you and i probably watched our anime on the same channel.Rtl2 thats where i started with Digimon,beyblade,Pokemon,Sailor Moon, Kamizake Kaitou Jeanne ,Wedding Peach,Yugioh,Nadia,Hamtaro(some others too, but those are the only ones i remember seeing) and finally, around the time they started showing Inuyasha they removed the channel from broadcast over here,somewhere in 2002-2003 i think...
couldnt watch any more anime till 2007 when my family got internet. First thing i did with it was watch Yugioh.

Ah yes, you should obviously also watch all of Gundam. Most importantly the original, Zeta, ZZ, Unicorn and Build Fighters.
Well then, remove him from the cliffnotes and put him in the top positions of the list, because he takes priority like few others do. It helps that personally his Paranoia Agent is perhaps his "worst" work (IMHO).

If it's a parody of something it's of Getter Robo and is the best mecha series you'll ever see because Gen Fudou is nonsensical and awesome.Aquarion: I've only seen the first series years ago. Basically what would be a serious "parody" of Evangelion. Recommended if you don't have anything more interesting to watch.

It's definitely a serious "parody" of "Evangelion", because everyone has psychological issues, who doesn't feel accepted, who is terrified to be rejected because the other may think they're monsters, who is depressed and paranoid because of bad luck, teens at first experience with sexuality, and more even more "philosophical", high-on-drugs themes but everything is done in a way that, intentional or not, give it a heavy shade of overall silliness. Not to mention all the pseudo and gratuitous mystical and biblical references and an End of Evangelion-esque finale (only less confusing-bullshit).

I'm reading Crimsons and it's an awe-inspiring experience.

Finished Crimsons. It's a masterpiece. I laughed, cheered, and cried - all over fish. The human characters subplot was also surprisingly good, too.

lol, it has its moments though. Like the times when Eren goes into Titanic Marilyn Manson mode (seriously, his titan form has the exact same face shape and especially nose as Manson.)
