Horizon was awesome. Dunno why they just stopped after season 2, both seasons sold over 20k with almost no drop between seasons. It was profitable, they couldve kept going.

i think one of the reasons why i like dendrogram is cause it reminds of the zany anything goes attitude of Horizon, where you have random things from fiction that normally shouldnt exist in the same setting just kicking ass together, and the only rule is that they have to be cool.

Ah Horizon...I too enjoyed that greatly. The very large but enjoyable cast was fun to watch. Not bad for something many said to be very hard to near impossible to adapt properly.

I want to get into it more but the sheer size of the LNs usually scare me off every time I see it though.

One Punch Man Season 2 Episode 11: Garou really beat all those heroes while still being so badly injured. And now he's going to fight Silver Fang. Just what is happening to him?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 10: So those 2 demons weren't really part of the 12 Kizuki? But they were so strong, what gives? And it's horrible that Muzan made a curse like that keep his demons quiet. I can't believe he's that afraid of them giving something up about them.

Maybe the difficulty of adapting that was too challenging?

I watched the live-action Bleach movie yesterday. They basically just altered the first arc of the series and shuffled around events and characters to make the movie and it kind of turned out to be a mess of an adaptation. I don't know why Tite Kubo gave it his blessing though, maybe he was just being polite? I mean, the man himself said that Bleach wouldn't work as a live action movie before.
    Spoiler:

Like where I do even start with the changes they made to the story. A minor one is changing the ghost girl that Ichigo makes the thugs apologize too into a boy. A major one they did was go with the idea that Ichigo can transfer his Soul Reaper powers back to Rukia if his Spiritual Pressure is strong enough. If it's not, he'll probably die. So she trains him and makes him fight the hollows in her place until it gets high enough. They made Byakuya and Renji appear much sooner and not just take Rukia with them at once. They give them until the next full moon to take her powers back and kill Grand Fisher, or they'll kill her and Ichigo.

The movie expanded and changed Grand Fisher's role a lot. They made it so it was waiting for years for a chance to get Ichigo again, when in the manga/anime it's preferred victims are young children and it didn’t know who he was until later. They gave it the power to make illusions. Instead of having him stab Ichigo to find out what he can't cut and change his lure to his mother, he made Ichigo see her back on that road. And the fight in the manga/anime was in a isolated area, the fight between him, Ichigo and Uryu, (he appears early too with the hollow bait), together in the movie spills out into the city. I liked they how showed all the stuff being destroyed by this seemingly invisible force like at the start of the movie, but it reality, it's these ghosts fighting each other.

And they actually managed to destroy Grand Fisher, when he barely got away in the anime/manga.

And finally, Byakuya and Renji show up again after they destroy Grand Fisher and the fight between Renji and Ichigo was actually pretty good. I liked how they showed powerful Byakuya was too. The last thing he does before putting cutting Ichigo for the last time was when Ichigo went for a slash, he simply stopped it with the tip of his sword, knocked it down, and quickly cut him down, already sheathing his Zanpakuto. Oh, and Rukia actually took her powers back from Ichigo and went back to the Soul Society with them. Also, they erased and changed everyone's memories of the incident. At the end of the movie, Ichigo sees the message that Rukia left him in the textbook.

I don't know how to feel about what they did with the Quincy Bangle Uryu has or his bow. They made it so that he takes off his wrist, pulls one with a string, and forms the bow that looks more like the one formed using the Sanrei Glove. The one in the arc that they're adapting was just one made up of Spirit Energy. The one shot of the Soul Society and the Seireitei was amazing though, it looked just like it. I liked how the Zanpakuto and the Hollows along with the way Zabimaru looked too.

Tatsuki, Orihime, Chad, Urahara, Keigo, and Ichigo’s family were in the movie too, but besides his family, they didn’t appear that much. But I think the movie got everyone’s character right, so it had that going for it. So yeah, at best, it’s an okay mess, and I still would have preferred a 5th animated movie. It was better than I expected of an live-action anime movie.

And that's it for One Punch Man Season 2 I guess. I can't believe they just ended it like that though.

Demon Slayer; Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 11: This Zenitsu guy is so funny, he's in the worst profession with the way he acts. He's so terrified, it's amazing. And the disgusted look that Tanjiro gave him when they met is the source of the one reaction image that I've seen online, so it just made me laugh. The guy wearing the boar head showed up too, I wonder what he's like.

Binged Black Clover manga, and I must say, I actually like it. Yeah, it's pretty stereotypically shonen in character, but it's pretty self-aware and well-done. Asta isn't my favorite protags, but the world around him and people he interacts with are super interesting and constantly relevant. All the nakama power one would expect in a shonen is well-grounded and often based on actual team strats more than sudden powerups, and the powerups themselves are not nonsensical. In any case, this is what Fairy Tail could have been if done right.

ZnT has great atmosphere, great character designs, great music. But its plot is an M.Shamalamadingdong movie, all twist and no payoff.

Demon Slayer; Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 12: Oh my god, what did Zenitsu do? Can he fight when he's asleep? That style of his is some sort of quick draw, that's so cool. He just killed that demon in a instant. And I guess that demon with the drums was once one of the Twelve Kitsuki until Muzan demoted him. Now he wants to eat the kid with that rare blood type to grow stronger to earn his spot back. It was a great episode, can't wait for the next one.

I just finished Kimetsu no Yaiba. I truly couldn’t feel the hype for it. While it definitely has some cool ideas for abilities and nices visual along with a Ufotable budget, there was often a lack of “weight” when blows were exchanged.

It had a very obnoxious tendency to dump in flashbacks for half of an episodes run time.

Additionally most of the characters are so one note they can become quite annoying with the worst of them(Zenritsu) I actually wanted to die.

My final gripe with it is that it often felt like they were trying to stretch content to allow it reach a 26 episode count. The last arc is honestly a weak way to end a season and would have possibly been better as the start of a second season.

I might give the movie a try when it comes out bit I was honestly not impressed.

I feel the same way about kimetsu no yaiba as i do about heroaca. Overall pretty mid but with nice visual flair and occasional moments of brilliance.

They're both cliché stories that are produced out the ass. They don't do anything really new or interesting but what they do they do really well. Which is more than you can say then about Fairy Tail or Seven Deadly Sins.

Only watched the first season of 7 Deadly sins. It was super boring and it’s tendency to have characters explain their powers to their opponents was probably some of the worst in the shounen demographic.I dropped Fairy Tail after the Grand Magic games because Mashina would obviously like doing slice of Life Ecchi or porn more . That and that entire arc was shit.

I actually liked Meliodas a lot as a protag. Sure his groping habit was weird at first and I can rightfully see that putting off a lot of people. But other than that I found his super cheerful and laidback nature even while fighting most of the time to be really fun and refreshing compared to the usual hot-blooded shonen protagonist.

Plus, with the fact that Elizabeth never really minds his groping and later revelations concerning their relationship, he's less like a molester and more someone indulging in a very weird kind of PDA that doesn't make sense to anyone else. Personally I headcanon that Elizabeth was never bothered by his antics because SPOILERsome part of her subconsciously remembered Meliodas as her lover in past lives. Makes it seem a bit less creepy, especially since he never pulls that shit on anyone else.

Demon Slayer; Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 13: Even with some broken bones, Tanjiro managed to beat Kyogai. That demon actually cried as it was dying because it's work was finally appreciated by someone else... They might be monsters, but they were all human once. I just like how the cat randomly showed up to take the blood sample. I was wondering how he would get the samples to them, but I didn't expect that. Zenitsu is like Tanjiro, but with his hearing instead of his sense of smell. Now I wonder what's going to happen in the next episode.
