He caught a glimpse of Arcueid's Mystic Eyes and went crazy. Arcueid was also losing control over her own impulses.
It's simple, really.
She likes him, wants to drink his blood. He likes her, wants to kill her.

<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

My attempts at being a (fanfic) writer:
Eclipse - a Saber Alter oneshot
Requiem for a Race - Altrouge and Ortenrosse hunt the TAs ( 1/3 chapters, discontinued )
Memories of a King - a 'Saber Origins' story ( 8/? chapters, discontiuned )
A Small Warmth - a post UBW-Good oneshot, Saber/Rin
Devil's Thrill - Narbareck hunts down a DAA Blackmore ( 10/10 chapters, finished )
Boundary of Loneliness - Ryougi Shiki/Alphard Al-Shua oneshot. Lemon-flavoured
No but seriously, trying to fight against these foreign impulses and almost losing his mind in the process makes Shiki a much more interesting character than just, you know, being a normal person
and here I used to think he was bland
"That thing was too big to be called a chair. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough. It was more like a giant hunk of wood."

Expresses the exceeding size of one's library.
Books are extremely many, loaded on an oxcart the ox will sweat.
At home piled to the ridgepole of the house, from this meaning.

Eh, "normal" people can honestly be sort of boring to watch/read about (not saying always). Some might say it's a good thing Nasu trusts he can carry the reader's attention and interest without needing to introduce a perfectly bland "normal" lead to serve as an audience surrogate.
I mean, someone like Shirou is definitely an audience surrogate in some aspects, but that's not all he is.
Oh gosh but you should do it in a thread I'm actually in
Anyway, dunno, Tohno is fine? But just because he has the concept of trying to not go crazy doesn't mean that I have to like how he's done. It's not the most compelling thing when it's not clear what he's trying to hold onto sanity /for/.
Finished O;9. I guess it's supposed to be a trippy experience, but I still feel that it was pretty damn straightforward in terms of storytelling. Turning the brain off and having Hand ShakerS shock therapy helped, too. Probably.
Overall, I enjoyed it, although I felt way more shaken by angles of the camera than twists. If I could compare O;9 to something, it'd probably be Durarara with voices set at 1.5x.
Tohno is an iffy character but he is a character, so he's a step up from Ryougi on the way to Shirou
if I want to see normal people I'll go outside
Normal person only exist in manga.
