Okay, it's been at least a month, it's time to stop mourning, I think I'm okay now.

The last part of season 4 of D.Gray Man is out now and I just finished watching episode 93. Allen was able to stop the download of the old Ark to the new one by playing that piano somehow. The strange thing is, he doesn't even know how to play the piano or how that music got into his head. And Chaozi became an accommodator of Innocence. It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally going to be able to finish this anime. Then I'll watch D.Gray Man Hallow and start reading the manga again.

D.Gray Man Episode 94:Allen and the others finally made it back to the Black Order by using the Ark, everyone was so happy to see them all again. That face the Millennium Earl made at the end though, that's his real serious face. I wonder what he'll do now that the Akuma Factory was damaged and with most of the Noah Clan being dead.

D.Gray Man Episode 95: So General Cross was off the radar for four years, he got his orders to destroy the Akuma Factory four years ago. But because of his actions he won't be punished for not checking in during that time. Instead those inspectors think Allen could be a traitor because he was able to operate the Ark. Allen has much done so much good and so saved so many people in his time as a Exorcist, he's one of the good guys, I have no doubt about that. He's certainly done for the Black Order than those bastards. Still I'm curious, just what is this Fourteenth that keeps coming up?

D.Gray Man Episodes 96-97:

So the order has multiple branches in different continents. It seems like Innocence evolving isn't something that happens normally, in fact, that happening could shorten the users life in exchange for more power.

Eating a lot of food is one thing, but giving up your life force gradually in order to fight is another. They're not even letting Allen and General Cross talk to each other right now. And apparently the "Fourteenth" is the fourteenth Noah out of what was thought to be 13. By my count, if we count Jasdevi as one, I've only seen 5 out of those 13. That means that there's 8 more out there probably. Anyway, the Fourteenth has the ability to use the Ark and has supporters. General Cross is assumed to be one of those supporters. It's said that the Fourteenth passed the ability to be the player of the Ark to someone else and then was killed by the other Noah. So either he passed it on to Mana who then passed it to Allen, or Mana was the Fourteenth Noah himself and passed it to Allen directly. Either way, Allen is being forced question everything he knows about his past.


So Lulubell can shape shift and then killed the Oceania branch chief. She then transformed into him to get into HQ, and recover the Akuma factory for the Earl. Episode 97 even started with some people finding the Oceania branch chief's body. A member of the Noah Clan and Akuma making it into the Black Order headquarters of Europe, even 6-7 years ago I wouldn't have believed that would ever happen.

Lulubell locked the entrance to lab and let in Level 3 Akuma from their Ark, letting them slaughter almost all of the people in the lab. It was cool when Allen arrived, standing in the middle of all of them. He's gotten so strong, he can destroy Level 3 Akuma with just one swipe of his sword, he's come so far. Lenalee wants to go so far as to try to force herself to synchronize with her Innocence again so she can fight. If she does get her Innocence back, it better come back stronger after what happened the last time she fought a Level 3 Akuma.

I'm very excited to see the other Generals in action.

while I felt it was too short, the OVA made it more complete, a good finisher

helped me going trough the last month of exams

So I've been watching Akashic Records Of Bastard Magical Instructor lately. Been enjoying the first few episodes a lot but what the hell made the writers think an old man with mind-manipulating powers perving on young girls was a remotely good concept for a silly comic relief character? Zest's actions were brushed off in the show, but thinking about what someone with his powers and mindset could get up to is honestly disgusting...

Recently watched 80s anime Hades Project Zeorymer. The prologue reminds me a bit of Evangelion, but the overall execution was hella poor. It's like Star Driver where it's basically fight this robot for this episode, but it's not the least bit flashy to look at (still watchable at least). The grand reveal (if you can call it one) and twist is fucked up, and it's probably the only thing it has going for it even though it doesn't really makes sense/not explained enough.

Heck, they had an omniscient narrator to explain the whole fiasco of a plot, and I still don't really get what's the driving point behind what these characters want to achieve.

D.Gray Man Episode 98: This episode is called "The Power of Generals", and for good reason. They're all so strong, they destroyed multiple giant Akuma in seconds with no problem whatsoever. I can't believe Tyki was able to kill one of them. I don't understand why the Black Order thought they needed protection, they can take care of themselves. And what happened to all the other Exorcists, there used to be tons of them at headquarters. They can't all of have been killed.

(Pro tip: This is a joke. Please, for the love of all that is good, do not track down the manga. It's even worse. It was serialized in a lolicon magazine, so half of the content is the female lead being repeatedly raped, and even when the robot stuff does happen, the author finds a way to make giant robot battles boring.)

The fact that Guyver will never end is a blessing in disguise if it keeps Takaya from churning out more tripe like Zeorymer.

D.Gray Man Episode 99: The Generals had to destroy the egg. I can't imagine the look on the Earl's face when he finds that out. But that thing that came out of the giant Akuma and the title of the next episode, they can really go up to Level 4.... Are there any limits to how much the Akuma can evolve and level up?

D.Gray Man Episode 100: The big one zero zero. Apparently, records for the Akuma for the the entire length of the war between the Black Order and the Earl only account for Akuma up to Level 3. They have no idea what the Akuma's final form is either. So this Level 4 appearing now is a new experience. Looking at it's soul was disgusting for Allen, it made him cry. The whole time Allen was fighting it, he was experiencing feelings of dread even though he was the one attacking for most the fight. The thing was powerful enough to defeat him with one blow. But the thing that really makes it scary isn't it's power.
The thing that makes it so scary is the childlike wonderment it has towards everything. It looking like more like a human doesn't help either.

Yeah. Was utterly disappointed when I saw the manga art. The OVA did good in retouching the character designs.

I just watched the first half of Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo, I really love it.

I originally watch it because I expecting a stupid-cute slice of life, but what I get is the story about a seemingly normal boy surrounded by geniuses, and how it affects his psyche. The theme itself hit home really hard, because cliche-ly I have been feeling that way in the past and present. How we think we work really hard for something we love, but other people seemingly do it better 'without' efforts, discouraging us to work harder even more, and stop giving our best in the end.

In actuality, it is just a single perspective we see about them. Focusing too much on their achievement and grandeur, we forget or ignore what these people must go through to achieve there. Once we know each side of things, we can't help but must objectively agree on each other weaknesses and better our way for a better tomorrow. Learning what it needs to be successful, learning what it feels to fail; exchanging ideas and experiences to get a bigger result.

The story itself presents this particular theme/situation quite realistic. While the characters and their quirks are exaggerated, fantastical and filled with anime tropes, how it proceeds is fairly grounded. The MC, after getting his resolve that has been died for so long, only meets with cold harsh of reality that he is inexperienced: anxiety, nervous, mind blank lead him to another failure (and totally destroyed by the person he admires). But on the very same episode of failure, the story takes a turn to the hopeful side. The MC once again pissed and filled with jealousy to the geniuses and undergoes another depression. His friends (the geniuses) know that he needs comfort, facilitate him by going to the pool to cheers himself, but not forcefully push him. But to move on, it is the MC (our) own choice to decide that, and he chooses to take a step and joining his genius friends in the pool, finally found himself fully belong with them. From that, he is no longer discouraged by failure anymore and proceed to make a project in culture festival with them as an equal; and its success symbolizes that.

Or at least that's how I feel and I like to over analyze things I like
