"Things don't always go smoothly. You can laugh at me if you want, I'm just a commoner after all. But don't you dare underestimate me. I am...KAGEYAMA'S RIVAL!!!"
Damn man, that latest chapter of Mob Psycho 100. Using the last of your strength to save innocent civilian lives instead of your own. What a man. Kageyama needs to step up now, or else his friend's sacrifice will be in vain.

Trying to get through my backlog of films. Today is "The Case of Hana & Alice", an animated prequel to a live action film basically showing how the two eponymous characters first met and became friends.
It's a very character driven piece, so while it felt like not a lot happened in the film, it was certainly enjoyable watching Alice overcome her bullies and Hana finding the courage to stop being a recluse and go outside.

Just got the latest Joker, and realized the very first series featured on its cover was Manabiya and that makes me sad.
Just finished the second season of Gundam Thunderbolt. While it was as fun as the first, the fact that there's no resolution at all in it irks me. The first season managed to be completely self contained and while this one is telling a much larger story, at the end it's incomplete. I'm sure they probably need time/money to get the third season going but if you aren't going to release a story that ends, maybe you should wait until you can finish it before you release anything. Not even a "Thunderbolt will return" at the end of the credits. It's frustrating.

meanwhile, in every light novel adaptation ever
Localizationing stuff
But at least LN's tend to finish a story arc before they end the anime. It's like Index stopped halfway through the Sisters story.

Don't talk about Index. Where's my season 3, gdi.
I'm sure the Thunderbolt anime will continue at some point.
Probably just gotta wait for the manga to get further ahead first.

I'm sure they have completely valid reasons, but If you're making a story at least finish the current arc before the season ends. There was no resolution to anything. It's like those movie adaptations they split in parts 1 and 2, only the cut off was chosen at random.
