Damn you go-toubon for messing with my feelings like this.

eva on netflix in 2 days bois
The original?
Yeah, the original series.
I started watching Yugioh Vrains. Yusaku is a skilled duelist right the off the bat, unlike Yuya, and he reminds me of Yusei in how he acts too. I'm up to Episode 12, and he just Link Summoned Firewall Dragon for the first time. I can't help but think about how I know this monster that was supposed to be his ace monster in the anime, promoted in the first booster pack of the Vrains era, gets banned. Firewall Dragon was the first protagonist's monster to get banned, not even plot armor could save it.
I think Link Summoning and Link Monsters are pretty cool. They're so easy to summon, and they have no levels or defense points, so they can't be effected by cards that have to do with levels or the defense position.
I bought the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes movie, on Sunday too, so I'm going to watch it later.

Spoiler:
Are they uploading End of Eva too or just the TV show?.

DINO GETTER,FUCK YESS
Spoiler:
That would be hilarious if they only got the license for the original 26 episodes and no End of Eva. Imagine the reactions of people who are only seeing it for the first time, for it to end like that.
Binged All Of Gundam In 4 Years, 1 Week and All I Got Was This Stupid Mask
FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Original anime ending> EoE mindfuck ending anyway
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Eh, Evangelion is overrated anyway.
I'm excited to watch Eva for the umpteenth time. It's held up on all of my other previous rewatches.
Speaking of Netflix, I hopped on the hype train years too late and started watching Madoka Magica. The KyoAni and ufotable stuff are on the backburner while I watch magical girls suffer. I don't know why I am doing this. I'm not a fan of the magical girl genre or pointless misery, but here we are.
Spoiler:
They have the original series, End of Eva, and Death & Rebirth.
And I believe they've cast a new dub for all of them.
That still strikes me as an incredibly weird move. The original was great.
What does Netflix really have to gain by shelling out the money for a new dub?
Spoiler:
alright boys, here's this,

Netflix dub cast:
Shinji: Casey Mongillo
Misato: Carrie Keranen
Asuka: Stephanie McKeon
Rei: Ryan Bartley
Gendo: Ray Chase
Ritsuko Erica Lindbeck
Fuyutsuki: JP Karliak
Kensuke: Ben Diskin
Kaji: Greg Chun
Tohji: Johnny Yong Bosch
Kaworu: Clifford Chapin
I like the new Rei, but anyone is better than Winn Lee -- no offense to her. I like Ben Diskin but don't care for him as Kensuke. Tohji was good in the original and perfect in Rebuild, this is a step down. Ritsuko is fine. Misato isn't Allison Keith, so it loses no matter what. Kaworu is... Kaworu. Gendo is okay, I like him better than Rebuild but not the original. Fuyutsuki is Fuyutsuki, any older actor can do him and sound convincing enough. Shinji I like Spike, but this isn't bad--it doesn't really... work... but it's not bad. Asuka is okay, but would be better if she went for her own thing instead of trying to echo Grant's performance, and she also kinda sounds like Toph so I dunno what's up with that.

Not great, not terrible.
Should've just used the Rebuild cast imao.

The main thing is that the energy, the fun of the original dub is lost and this is like a husk trying to stick too close to the Japanese performance--and that doesn't feel right.
Ishigami truly is best girl. I want him to succeed with his crush, but i feel like the story will try to hook him up with iino instead.
