Bittersweet, with a light dusting of sweet. Or would that be the other way around?
I thought he'd let go of Nagi after she became self sufficient (wasn't really expecting him to get together with anyone but Nagi; the serious romance flags didn't go up with anybody, but still). For such a long running series, it feels like it left quite a few characters up in the air. Maria, Ruka, Hinagiku- hell, even the more minor characters like whatshisface-with-the-maid and Isumi, everyone else was just tossed up in the air. I know manga authors like to keep things neutral, so as not to shake the boat and piss off long-time fans who wanted to see so-and-so get together, but damn, at least give us a hint.
Thoughts?
