I wonder if I'm gonna live long enough to see to its end.

Something
No way. It took like 400 chapters to deal with the Chancellor.
Maybe my grandchildren will get to see it. Along with Act 2 of Zetman.

Things on your Plan To Watch list: RahXephon, Mazinkaiser SKL, Trigun, Gungrave
Shows now on your list that you should watch anyway: Darker than Black, Death Parade, Devilman Crybaby (Netflix), Sword of the Stranger (it's a movie but watch it anyway), Princess Mononoke (ditto), Diebuster, G Gundam, Gundam 00 (season 2 is a huge step down so it might not be a bad idea to stop at season 1), Gundam Thunderbolt, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
Spoiler:
Id recommend watching Macross.
Went with RahXephon. Six episodes in and it seems like a knockoff Evangelion so far but it's decent. Misato (Fake) is cute.
Just read Wizard's Soul. It was a really fun time.
In another series Manaka would probably be an antagonist for a happy go lucky and well adjusted mc to defeat and befriend.
Fate/Apocrypha Episode 2: The ending is better than the opening, Garnidelia sounds as good as everyone said they were. The added demonstration of Blasted Tree was cool, I didn't know it could bring lightning down from the clouds. Oh, then there was that hunter that saw Spartacus lol. But, that fight at the end was the highlight of the episode, it was pretty much how I imagined it was when I read the novel. The next 12 episodes are coming out February the 9th, so I'm going to try to not procrastinate and finish the first 12 before then.
Spoiler:
Localizationing stuff
A lot of people do write off RahXephon as an Evangelion clone, which is really too bad. It has some tonal and stylistic similarities, but those tend to fall away as it goes on. I feel like it was probably a calculated decision to bring in viewers jonesing for the next Eva.
Spoiler:
Eva's just a Devilman clone
with robots
fite me
Localizationing stuff
well ok but with only six episodes i think the natural reaction is to think "well this feels like eva"
That said I just finished it. It was okay. I liked it quite a bit until around halfway through, but after a certain point my enjoyment dwindled. Even ignoring the plot, which was needlessly obscure at times, the characters themselves sort of became progressively worse. Haruka is a really good example of this as she was just laughable by the end.
idk I liked what they were going for, and thought the concept was neat (the Isshiki/Itsuki flashback episode was great) but it wasn't executed very well.
