    Good news, I'll be updating soon to release higher quality versions of the UBW and HF Vita Ops.     The sound quality could be better. I have a rip of the game version of Another Heaven (thanks to epherion), but I need one of Horizon.

    This is amazing! I never thought you would add and restore so much stuff that was taken out, and make so many cool additions and changes! You've gone way beyond just making a translation patch for PC RN. I will wait for that updated version with the higher quality UBW and HF Vita OP's. ^_^ Anyway, since H-alt scenes and RN specific lines are untranslated, does that mean the game will be littered with Japanese lines and text in certain places with this patch, or have they been removed for a lack of translated alternatives? :-/ Will you make a new version later where the untranslated text is translated, when/if somebody finally provide translations for them at some point in the future?

    Also, I'm wondering, since we can switch between having H on or not, does that mean that when we have them off, the H-alt scenes will appear instead (in Japanese of course, I assume)? And will the CG's for both the H and H-alternative versions of a particular scene unlock in the Gallery when we play one of those scenes in the game, or will we have to play once with H on, and once without? Like, if I have H switched on, and play through the first H-scene in Fate, then the CG's from that scene will unlock in the Gallery, but will the ones from the corresponding H-alternative scene be unlocked as well, or will I have to actually play the non-H scene to get them? What about vice versa? Will the CG's from the H-scene unlock in the Gallery if I play through the H-alternative scene?

    Anyway, huge thanks for this! ^_^ This must have been a lot of work for you, even if Waku Waku and MeruP did a lot of work as well. Sorry for all the questions, but I hope you can answer some of them.

    The un-translated parts are still there in Japanese. If you want to get both H and H-alt CGs you'll have to go through both versions.

    As for a TL of the H-Alt scenes. Waku Waku messaged me, saying he'll send me the translations when they're finished, so I'll be throwing those in when I get them.

    Edit: wait you want to know if random references to things like H-Alt scenes will just be in Japanese? Not at this point, if you have H scenes off, H alt scenes will play, but characters will act as though they had sex in later scenes.

    Thanks for the reply, that answered everything I was wondering about! ^_^ I'll keep an eye on this topic (I've already been doing that for ages anyway), and wait for the version where the H-Alt scenes are translated (and the higher quality UBW and HF OP's are included). ^_^ I assume that's going to be a while. Waku Waku seems to have gone inactive again for a while now...

    Depends on what you mean by "glitches". If you're referring to all the things people kept pointing out in the comments of his blog (like how one choice was still in Japanese), I fixed those, but I only fixed the ones others pointed out, so if there's more, I may have missed them.

    Thank you for assembling and fixing all this stuff. I went through prologue, and several scenes have really impressive changes comparing to old PC version with RN patch, though I didn't appreciate the RN BGM for Archer vs Lancer fight. However, there's a trouble with opening, I forgot to put the Vita patches before I reached it, and when I did it and ctrld through prologue again, instead of supposed Vita one PS2 opening is shown, but upside down. I can live without Vita opening, but the effect is rather bizarre.

    As I showed in the video, I arranged it so the PS2 op (with the sound effects restored) plays once you clear the prologue, which Ps2 OP plays depends on which route you're in. To get the Via Op's you clear Day 3 of the route you want to see the Op for.

    As for the Op being upside down.......that's odd. Maybe you should delete your savedata and start again with the Op patches already in there. Also what route were you playing when this happened?


    Edit: also just going on record, the RN bgm is not me, that's how RN is. The reason you barley heard the RN bgms with Waku Waku's patch for the original PC version is because he only threw them in to the scenes he edited to have RN features to. The actual RN has them scattered all over and there are only a few that play once. I actually changed back some of the music to how it was in the original FSN, manly switching back some uses of Deep Slumber to Ever Present Feeling (while they're both sad songs, they convey different kinds of sad, so some scenes feel like they have a different mood if you swap one with the other).

    Ah, my bad, I didn't check out the video. It's Fate route. I removed the saves and ctrld through prologue again, it's still upside down.

    Yeah, I'm aware about RN BGMs being different because that's how it was in RN. Nevermind my random complaint about that one, I just really liked that fight with clashing souls.

    That's really weird, it's not upside down for me. Once you clear day 3, you'll get the Vita Op, tell me if that one's upside down as well. Maybe I'll make a version for you with the video files upside down, so your glitch will turn them right-side up.

    I've just checked PS2 openings for UBW and HF, they are upside down too.
    Thank you, but there is no need to bother with it if it's only for me, I don't care that much about openings. Must be some codek problem or something.

    I thought that only I was the only one having problems with the OPs being upside down. Also, my UBW is freezing somewhere around Day 2-3 (I'll check where exactly later).

    .............Yep, spotted the crash in UBW.............I knew I forgot to test something.


    Edit2: I know what's wrong, and all I can say is WTF? Ok so Shirou's supposed to say "What the..." in response to seeing Rin on the rooftop, but the voice work was cut, so I added it back in, however I added it back in as a sound effect and told it to play that sound effect when the line is read. What's weird is the file it's calling for is present in the second patch file, so there shouldn't be a problem........however when I plays this scene in Fate just now, rather than hearing Shirou's voice, I heard birds chirping.

    Anyway, I have the same upside down OP issue. The PS2 vids work without any problem without the Vita OP patch.
    If I have the Vita OP patch installed, both the PS2 and Vita OPs of all routes are upside down, also I don't know if I'm the only one having problem with the vids not keeping up with its audio. I mean, the audio have no prob, but the vids are a bit glitchy. Without the patch, vids play smoothly.

    Does that problem only last for Shirou's dream and then switch to calibri as soon as he wakes up? If so then I have the same problem. Not sure if I can fix it or not, but I'll give it a shot.


    In any case, I fixed both the "about" crash (though the window is too small to display the whole message) and the font issue................but I don't have a clue about word-wrapping. Does anyone know what files I need to look at to modify that?


    Edit: in regards the the video, it appears that it's not just upside down, but also mirrored. My question is how and why?
