Fine, I'll add some context. First off, that line of text was from the original FSN. After all, the MM TL is of that version and that scene only is in the original (until various patches put it in RN).

MM gave us this:


I always assumed the fault belonged to Nasu for killing the mood of this scene, but I put the original line into Google TL out of boredom and it gave me "I want to be with" as opposed to "I want to do" so now I wonder if MM fucked with us.

Google Translate is more reliable than even the most professional translators; it's just that it has a bad rep because unskilled plebs use it..

Oh yeah, that's where such wonderful and eloquent translations like: "And got it working like hell washing the bottom of the kettle, the woman's monologue was good." come from.

Please don't believe post from Pai except translation result. His tranlation result is correct but Pai is still keeping his role play.

One of the first three that he crossed out might be, but I doubt the fourth one is.

I don't doubt that he wants to have sex with her. I doubt the particular word choice. I'm used to Nasu using really bad word choice in H-scenes, but that was too early in the scene for him to slip into "porn" mode and that particular word choice seems very unfitting for the tone of this scene at this point.

As much as I'd like to (that's what I do in my head anyway), I have no right to meddle with something I don't understand, hence why I asked people here first. I'll probably just go with what Kotonoha gave me. Even if it's subtle, it does improve it. "do it with you" sounds like something a 17-year old kid might say versus "do you" sounds like something someone would say to a hooker.

I mean so long as you make it sound like something shirou would say (cause he'd be far to embarrassed to be that blunt in my opinion) you'd probably be fine, so something like "i want to be with you" or what kotonoha posted before and you should be fine.

Fair point. What I mean to say is, if you have no interest in playing RN pc version, why are you on it's thread to see my request in the first place? McJon and Kotonoha tend to frequent this place so I wouldn't be surprised to get help from them.
