Not even just Original characters. Go wild with Nasuverse compatible ideas. Familiars, Mystic Codes, Spells, Demons, Demon slayer families go wild.
Though since we have 2 other threads for servants I'd leave those Ideas for their respective threads.

Sorry for putting it in the wrong section. I thought that many of the RPs here would cross with Nasu since we're on a Nasu board after all. I sometimes create character's for RPs without you know an actual RP going on, thus I incorrectly determined using that low correlation that it would be fit to go here instead of the fanfic section. In retrospect I now know see that characters without an RP and the mechanics and context the RPs provides it would be useless in this section and automatically fall under contextless fanfic. While we're at it doing the whole moving thing could we expand it to not only Original Characters, but Mystic Codes, simple spells you think would be possible in the Nasuverse and Familiars.

Usually people like writing walls of texts about their own OCs so this'll probably be a success in the FF forum, hue.

Really I thought people hated OCs here and thought they were terrible on this side of the forum. I actually only prefer to see OCs in RPs myself with only minimal influence in fics.

There's plenty of stories here with characters that are OCs in all but name. Mostly stories about figure heads that we don't know much about like Lorelie Bartholemoi.

I write an OC fic (or like wrote but I promise i have a half done update) and people are pretty receptive as long as you don't do Very Silly Things.
I guess it's the expansiveness of the Nasuverse. So much is only hinted at that you can fill it with your own headcanons. Just look at the America headcanon fiesta we had over in the Things that annoy you in FF thread.

Then there's Servant creation, which is essentially tailor made for character creation. Just take a famous person, real or fictional, give them anime superpowers and mess around with their backstory and bam.
Why else would we have two ginormous threads for making them?
The Nasuverse is ripe for exploration. Plain and simple.

The problem is that the reader needs to learn about them to get invested in them. Such patience is usually lacking unless the story is really really promising.
As someone who's writing an entire OC-only fic, I approve of this thread. I fully expect 90% of the OCs to be shitty, but I still approve. In fact, give me 10 minutes and I'll give you one of my own.
