Monty's not animating RvB anymore, that's someone else job now. He's in RWBY full time. So the animation being clunky is because someone else is doing it now.

I feel like it's less of Carolina being rusty and more of the new animators being less Monty. If Monty animated Felix I think he'd be doing Freelancer tier moves.

Well people tend to notice drops in quality more than the would notice slight improvements. This though felt like a drastic drop and teh battle felt clunky and slow. Yeah I was spoiled by Monty's quality work but one ussually expects consistency in the work done.

I liked getting to see Carolina and Epsilon-Church interacting in this episode, and found the memories of the other AIs quite nice - and an obvious sign that Epsilon misses the Reds and Blues. Though seeing Omega and Sigma worried/worries me. And there's even the calling Carolina "sis" part. I liked it.

It was nice to see how an AI thinks instead of noticing it just run in the background.
Though lot of potential for insanity relapse with some of his more twisted personalities also being assimilated into the memory works.
