I like the technical infodumps because they make a fair amount of sense and you can tell the author worked hard at figuring out a really functional universe, but they're like the most awkwardly placed "As you already know..." kind of bombs. At least with someone like Nasu, you get a bit of humor from the characters that don't know what the hell is going on. Everybody here talks like a physics textbook.

tho i have not read the mahouka lns i understand what he is saying about infodumps and that they help with the world building yet can still be awkwardly placed
i tend not to skip them however (tho i have read some books that like to repeat defining a term again and usually i give those sections a light skim)

It's weird that they made him so Suzaku-y. His art in the novels always had more of a Kamui look going.

wait is the 2nd arc super long or something? pai told me this was gettting 26 eps so i think they should be able to fit in more then 2 arcs. (unless by second season you mean when it gets past ep 13)
