Ever17 Remake: Wat?

The announcement isn't new, but here's the actual site for it. To be honest, from what I've seen on this site and on another place that had screenshots, I can't say I'm too impressed with this.

The 360 isn't as popular as the PS3 in Japan overall, that's true. But you have to consider who actually owns the consoles, and for whatever the reason the 360 seems to be the system of choice for the hardcore otaku types.

In any case, though, it's not a PC, so that makes localization a lot harder. Good thing Ever17 isn't an eroge.

Anyway, any information on that 5pb-Kojima game? Is it actually true? Or still just a rumor?

I suspect the reason is Idolmaster.

Hopefully, if they do localise the remake, they'll do a proper job of it this time around. Mirror Moon quality. Although they'd have to keep in "Naturally, I knows the hacker" for old time's sake

Apparently the character sprites are being done in 3D. I don't know how well that's going to work.

Yeah, I know. The terrible character sprites and backgrounds were what I was pissed off about.

Since it's for Xbox 360, an export seems really, really unlikely unless some Western company is completely positive it will sell well.
