I actually find it refreshing.
There were so many power level debates that basically had a big ??? on them, but when you take into account what Kai gives us, there's a lot more information to put a place for a lot of the characters.

Which debates are you talking about? Super or the original? Because I feel like Super's debates can't be answered by anything.

tbh the transformations don't seem to matter at this point unless they're specifically brought up
which is much like the old movies and toei creations

I'm halfway between liking that Freeza's in this and wanting to congratulate Goku on successfully pulling one over on him since Freeza doesn't know the earth dragon won't revive him a second time.
Also, kinda feel like Kale's Broly voice needs more synth or something.

I like that Freeza was trying to appeal to Goku's love of fighting. Actually that entire exchange was pretty great.

So do you guys think that Freeza will do well or will he job like he did back in the cell saga?
Freeza's unlikely to job here after they bothered to drag him out of hell.
I'd say it's more likely he betrays the instant he has an opportunity to without fear of recourse.
That or he actually cheats somehow and becomes a liability in that he won't stop doing it and the rest of the team has to somehow keep Zeno from finding out.

I hope they don't go that route, it is so cliche at this point.
It makes sense for Freeza. The worst would be if they redeem him or make him a good guy like the others.

They don't have to necessarily go that route either. He can still be super selfish and arrogant while not destroying himself through a cliche betrayal or turning to the side of good. I'd just like to see him having fun with it personally.
Freeza working with Goku. This can't be happening.

Him being an underhanded asshole is part of what makes him himself.
