Also this ep this week was pretty good I gotta say. All the peeps getting all fidgety at Caulifla possibly learning SSJ3 should remember a few things:
1.) It's super energy intensive, even Goku stays away from it.
2.) Gohan literally went from SSJ to the cusp of SSJ2 really fast.
3.) Trunks and Goten go SSJ just from regular training playing around.
Having an experienced guide around really makes a difference. And Goku is adopting his full fighting slut because he just sees one (two with Kale) delicious treats just waiting for the seasoning to perfect them.

It's also been stated that the Saiyans of U6 are prodigies compared to U7 because they evolved differently.

I like to headcanon that U6 Saiyans don't have zenkai because they already have all that ability unlocked in exchange for losing their tail.

Well, I guess Kefla looks neat, I just don't really know where they're gonna go with her.
I kinda doubt she'll end up beating Jiren or knocking out Goku. Well, at least the fights are fun.

I like Caulifla and Kale a lot more after this episode. Especially Kale. I like how they kept foreshadowing the fusion through their dialogue.
The art this episode was gorgeous. There are so many screencaps around the net right now comparing it to Z. They recaptured the magic.

The one thing though, is people need to stop making excuses for Goku, those two are strong, and Kale wasted a crapton of energy going berserk all those times and they both just recovered before fighting Goku, with Caulifla being quite fatigued before uniting with Kale.
I am pretty sure Kefla is doing so well because she is handling that deep hidden potential that Kale has with Caulifla's adaptable nature.
I love Goku, but man, the triggering I see is a head scratcher sometimes. That said, with how the show works, she'll probably go down from Ultra Instinct to be the stepping stone in letting Goku get closer to mastery, which is kind of a shame, but *shrug*.
Eh, Vegetto and Gotenks have both showed us that Fusions are way more than the sum of their parts. Kefla being this OP shouldn't be any sort of surprise.
The state going into the fusion is irrelevant, both times Vegetto was formed Goku and Vegeta had gotten the shit kicked out of them beforehand and Vegetto came out fresh.
To be honest, I'd say the thing I'm most annoyed with Kefla for is just that she seems like she's just Caulifla with a fusion powerup as opposed to an actual fusion. I haven't really seen Kale's characteristics anywhere but in Kefla's clothes.
Then again, you have to squint a bit to see the Goten in Gotenks too.

Not really, if we go by the manga (of dbz) the first time they fused, Vegeta and Goku didn't engaged a fight against Super Buu. And both of them had to eat a senzu bean prior to Vegetto vs Zamasu
And yeah, it becomes annoying how are that many who believes that Goku Blue should be more than enough against Kefla in his current state
