It'll probably drag out for at least a couple episodes so that they can have the great culling of most Universe 7 fighters in preparation for the inevitable Boss fight vs Jiren

Man I didn't want Piccolo to go out that way. You'd think they wouldn't be so stumped by invisible fighters either.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Yeah, it's like they're getting worse at dealing with it.
Goku handles Yakon no problem, and he can't even see his surroundings because he can feel the air currents.
Gohan beats Lavender silly, while poisoned and unable to see him or sense his ki.
Then the weaker Kuririn gives him trouble with Solar Flare x100 which is largely the same thing
And now Gamiramas is able to give several fighters trouble when their conditions are much better.
But ignoring that, it also seems pretty uncreative to just keep using invisible/unseen enemies so many times this arc.
On an unrelated note - apparently this arc is supposed to last until March, and we're getting the combined robots next episode. I think spoilers indicate 17 and 18 will fight Paparoni, that leaves one more U3 fighter. If U3's fighters get eliminated soonish, I have no idea what is going to fill the rest of the time.
I wouldn't be surprised if 17, 18 and Gohan are all taken out in the U3 battle though. It looks like the combined robot may be played up as the big thing Gohan does before he gets eliminated, and 17 and 18 have recently had their focus as well.

A plant taken out by a bug.
Poetry.
Those fights went way too fast. We didn't get any real emotional payoff from their disappearance. It just kind of happened. I was expecting more from the supposed rival of Beerus.
Also it makes Quitela looking so smug during Ultra Instinct VS Jiren absolutely hilarious in retrospect. Dude had no chance in hell.

These competitors could have stayed hidden until the end.
But nope, let's reveal ourselves for absolutely no reason.
They revealed themselves because if they stayed hidden they'd be fucked, since U7 had 7 fighters and U3 had 6. They needed a way to cut the numbers.
Also, note that they only revealed themselves once the jig was up- before that they were just trying to shove people over the edge when the opportunity arose.
Piccolo deserved a better ring-out than that. I mean, he still had the best run out of all non-Saiyans, and in fact has been much more useful than Vegeta, for instance, but he deserved better. The fact that he was ringed-out just to give #17 yet another moment of glory is starting to sour me on the latter.
I was surprised how simply he got ringed out, but I didn't mind 17 getting a moment. We never have seen 17 really since the Cell Saga so I'm glad he gets any moments at all. But I am impressed by how smart he is compared to everyone else. He has ended up being one of their best picks.

Even Kamen Rider deserved a better ring out.
What a waste of an episode.
Dragon Ball FighterZ adds Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black
In addition to the new fighters, the magazine also has information on two new gameplay elements:“Come forth, Shenron!” – Shenron appears during battle. The seven Dragon Balls will gather one by one as you pull off specific numbers of combos. You and your opponent share the amount of Dragon Balls gathered. Shenron will appear in battle when certain conditions are fulfilled, and the player who fulfills those conditions will have their wish granted. You can choose from four wishes: full HP recovery, teammate revival, addition of one “Sparking!” icon, or constantly recovering HP.
“Dramatic Production” – Reproduces famous scenes from Dragon Ball before and after the battle when certain conditions are fulfilled.
Spoiler:
Huh, that dramatic production kinda reminds me of the little things that U/C did when certain conditions were met. As long as they aren't too showy and don't take up too much time I could see them being a pretty cool thing the more they add.
Transforming robots look fun.
Maybe they'll actually knock someone from U7 off next episode.

I wouldn't mind him having another moment to shine if it hadn't come at the expense of Piccolo.
But to be honest, he's been a wonderful addition to the cast. His fighting scenes alongside #18 against Ribrianne were very cool, and I loved him hamming it up as the villain of a magical girl anime.
