You kidding me? I LOVED the OST. I was actually kinda singing along with the battle themes. Quietly, of course.

I also feel like there was a huge missed opportunity for a joke about kale somewhere in there.

I'll agree about the Kale part, even if they worked in the fusion dance jokes and Goku hitting his head.

As for the last part, I actually like how Paragus was reimagined as a genuinely abusive parent who SEEMED like he cared but in actuality didn't and only really cared about his wounded ego. It helped make Broly way more sympathetic.

This was to me easily the best DB movie. The only thing that didn't like as much was the latam dub (watching it a second time sub was more enjoyable) and some sudden skips in the first half of the movie.
Sumitomo's ost was really good with many variations from Broly's theme, the destruction of planet Vegeta and the last 2 major fights.

They did good with Broly to care about him even by the time where he goes berserk. I liked his relation with Cheelai and Lemo but also with Paragus where they care about each other even if the latter is more clouded in his revenge towards Vegeta

Animation was also amazing, even the cgi parts didn't bother me whatsoever

Sucks about the Latam dub, the English dub was absolutely superb. Also, agree about the animation.

About Broly, yeah, he became a much better character, and he bounced off Cheelai, Lemo, and Paragus well. As for Paragus, I like how it's not entirely clear whether he didn't care for Broly at all or cared so little that his thirst for revenge eclipsed that care. I also liked Cheelai and Lemo as a duo, and the Frieza and Bulma similarities in their wishes were hilarious.

Saw a camrip and considering seeing it in theaters now. I liked New Broly a lot more than old one, and I appreciate that even though Bardock's backstory is the Minus version they still left things open for his dramatic last scene in space from the old special to still be able to fit. Broly's new friends were great too, actually they may have been the highlight of the whole movie.

Broly's dad described his rage mode as using the power of a Great Ape while still humanoid, and isn't that basically what Super Saiyan 4 is?

Paragus is more poignant in the OG Broly movie while here it’s Broly instead

Yeah, appreciated the touch of Bardock attempting to fight the Death Ball after what it looks like he still went through his Special events, though I wished they showed the vision still

Kinda, but Super Saiyan 4 also has an external source, I believe, and the Rage Mode is entirely from within by channeling the power of the Oozaru.

It would depend in how much you compare the anime and movie versions of Goku and Vegeta

Since neither Blue Evolution nor Kaioken Blue are used in the movie by being anime original and not from Toriyama. If you think that in the movie they're equal strong to that with no need of those power-ups then I'll say that Broly could be stronger than Jiren, just because I don't see MUI being that much of a power-up compared to Fusion aside for better evasion/counter.
Otherwise if count those forms then Jiren
