Saw it in theatres while in Japan. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Chirai was fun, and Broly actually had some depth. Still had some "power levels are BS" happening that Super has generally had, but overall was probably the best case of it outside of Battle of Gods.
Random thought from out of nowhere: I know most people miss the non-Saiyan characters being more plot-relevant (I know I certainly do), but is their irrelevance really any worse than those countless fighting-focused series where the main character does everything and the secondary ones are only good for defeating some equally-secondary antagonists and then losing badly to the main bad guy (usually the only one with any dramatic relevance)?

Yes, because at least the latter can still carry dramatic weight.
The secondary characters in Naruto were never going to defeat Kaguya, but I'll be damned if Shikamaru defeating Hidan to avenge his teacher's death wasn't one of the best moments in Naruto.
Just to give one example.

Sorry, I found most of Naruto "meh".

Speaking objectively though, the whole of Akatsuki was basically padding.

Bandai Namco teases Dragon Ball Game Project Z action RPG, Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character Jiren
A Dragon Ball action RPG code-named Dragon Ball Game Project Z is currently in development, Bandai Namco has announced.
Additionally, the company teased that “The Warrior from Universe 11 is joining the fight” in Dragon Ball FighterZ, suggesting Jiren will be announced as a playable character.
The March 2019 issue of V-Jump due out on January 21, as well as the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals on January 26 and 27, will have more information.
Spoiler:

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Jiren eh? That's scrapping the bottom of the barrel. :/

Jiren is ok but where is the most anticipated DBS character - Ribrianne, DW?
I'm expecting Jiren, Kefla, and maybe some dbz movie villains.
If we're lucky maybe we'll get Jackie Chun or something.

Saw Dragon Ball Super Broly today in a theater, and I must say, 30 bucks well spent. The fight choreography was amazing, the transformations looked cool, new Broly has a MUCH better backstory and personality(and I liked his companions), and the sheer amount of lampshade hanging really rounded out the whole ensemble. I just wish the fight was slightly longer and that Broly actually killed Frieza.
