Next ep looks amazing.
Desperate Jiren fight to the finish is probably everything from now to the end.

Eh, I thought the merged robot was pretty ok. 17 got a great sequence with hitting the head-core thing.
Next episode just looks better though:

I liked how U3's last resort was just "Fly up, blow up the rest of the arena, let everyone else fall"
I like how U11 still did nothing to help even though they would have been affected.

Was a pretty good episode, glad Vegeta wasn't eliminated too early in the final fights.
Dyspo being actually a threat is kinda funny to see, tho I feel like part of that is because Freeza wasn't taking him seriously enough at first.

Well, Dyspo was able to take God Goku, so he's at least on that level.
Freeza didn't go Gold yet though.

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
I know the episode was just setting up the next one, but Vegeta's fight with Jiren was way too predictable.
Let's see where they take Vegeta from here, and maybe stop having him reside in Goku's shadow.
I think they already moved away from him being Goku's shadow from the start of Super. He is farther behind him in power, but he often becomes legitimately his equal (which never happened in Z) and he isn't obsessed with Goku anymore -- he has his own priorities, which makes his path different.
I like how he basically said "screw Ultra Instinct" since, I didn't realize this until he said it, but UI really means throwing away your sense of self. And Vegeta could never do that. So I wonder how he's going to power up.

Nice episode, with the maximum over blue form
next episode also seems to be interesting, does it mean No. 17 will fight Toppo 1vs1?

What? That's not true. Vegeta outright surpasses Goku at several points in Z. It's only once Goku exits the time chamber that Vegeta becomes stuck behind him, and that's with the series almost over.
RF put them as equals, the Super anime changed this with Kaio-ken and gave Vegeta an equivalent waaaay too late, both because Goku had Kaio-ken for two whole arcs by now and he's already in the process of getting something better. I wonder if they're going to give Vegeta a form to be different from UI, because if he gets UI the whole idea of him being different to Goku will be meaningless.
In Z, Goku was always one step ahead metaphorically, even if Vegeta at that exact instant was stronger. On Namek, Vegeta was stronger at many points, but Goku was always jumping ahead by leaps and bounds. Vegeta was always playing catch up. It's the case from the Saiyan Saga on.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
