Blue is fun. Pink and Black are terrifying.

Monotype was interesting as well.

I did a Water team back in 4th Gen. I wasn't a very good battler though, so I lost a lot. I lost to Flying and to Ice.

I made a goofy Electric team on Showdown too.

Stunfisk, champion of champions was my ace.

But in the end, it's not how many Pokemon you have, but how you use them.

Well.. I have 10+ boxes of competitive Pokemon.. and 99% of them are shiny and Kalos born.. However, I have to effort most of them, because a lot are still lvl1.

For all I know, I could lose in my first round like the last tournament I was in.

In my case, it only led me to lament the fact that I could no longer play with friends unless I had a competitive team myself. Which is why I only have precisely six competitive-ish Pokemon.

Probably not, due to the time it takes for me to breed them, plus I'm not exactly good at planning a competitive Pokemon at all. Best I can do is look at Smogon and hope for a moveset that doesn't require B2W2 Move Tutors. And that's not even taking planning a good team into account...

Also, a good team is really just made of things that take hits, things that make hits, and maybe a supporter to throw in entry hazards and such.

As long as you have a decent balance of types and physical vs. special attacker you should be fine.

I actually just full train them when I wanna battle with them, and since I haven't been battling.. so, yeah

Nowadays I just train to level 50, and then bring them along to Le Wow when I'm trying to level a different Pokemon to 50.

It's worked surprisingly well. It's a bit boring, but it works.

God, I can't imagine doing this for that many pokemon. Like, leveling them to 50 alone is such a pain.

I'm just like going around beating up stuff with one of my main team's pokemon for my competitive team.

Can't even imagine how stupidly annoying this was before the new EXP share from this game was introduced.

It goes pretty quickly with a Lucky Egg + Experience Power Level 3 + Pokemon-Amie Boost.

After finishing EV training with some Horde battles, it takes 2-3 runs through Le Wow doubles to get something to Level 50, especially if I teach it Protect and have it sit in the front to get full experience.

Rotation battles + lvl 100 anything = exp gold mine.
