Also, completely trivia note here, showing I am in fact a giant nerd, but male sharks and rays possess two penises called claspers. The way they mate is basically rape too. The male shark bites onto the female shark and she thrashes like mad to get him the fuck out. Now, here's the really creepy part.
Most sharks give live birth and have two wombs, there are a few who do lay eggs. However, the male fertilizes many eggs and there are many shark babies, but only two are born. One from each womb. What happens to those other shark pups in there? Well, the two sharks that are born have to eat some how you know and they're not getting nutrients from Mamma Shark.
I knew that the babies ate each other in the womb, but I didn't know sharks had two penises. Nor did I knew they raped the female.
