Yes he definitely lost two lives, wasn't that mentioned in Illiya's bath scene where those two lives were gonna take 3 days to heal.

"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
its the music
Localizationing stuff
Also it has some really great character stuff between Shirou and Saber (poor Sakura, worst girl even in her own Route).
a lot of people that hate HF (or sakura) have to give it a back handed compliment to legitimize their opinion and thus name SLH
it rarely shows up in discussions of overall best scenes
[04:55] Lianru: i3uster is actuallly quite cute
SLH is both the best Saber scene in HF and one of the best fight scenes in FSN, IMO.
For the record, HF is my favorite route and I like Sakura.
don't quote me on this
It might not be either. Since it blatantly obvious that 3 movies are condensing things enough you would assume it's going to get rewritten in a lot of places, the route might get an original ending.
If it does, it depends on what they have for it, but I'd like if we got all the lore and information we got in True. Get Dilo an actual design and appearance. Maybe give more details like what form Shirou took before he was transferred to another body, the adventures of the sisters combing through the supernatural black market, and other stuff. You can use a whole lot of topics.
If we get to see Touko that way then I'll take it.
Something
Basically this

That would be so cool. Anime only people that saw KnK would be certanly surprised...XD
But yeah, may bet is that we will get an ending that is esentially True but with original stuff , and that would be welcome
The fact that we see a true Master v. Servant battle unleashed?
The idea that Mr "People die when they're killed" managed to outsmart, and overpower the most powerful Servant in the war?
The music that plays in that ONE scene?
The emotional package of the "sword" and "sheathe" cutting each other down?
The impactful dialogue that Saber gives to Shirou, even though it isn't her route?
Yeah, I can see why people love it so much.
I use to dislike it due to Shirou going brain dead as a cost of beating Saber, but fully realized that this was the epitome of Emiya Shirou's badassery. Same appiles to Mind of Steel, I hated it for Shirou killing everyone he knew and loved for chasing after his hollow ideal, and essentially becoming Kiritsugu 2.0, but appreciated it for the fact that the ending acknowledged how fucked up, inhuman, and machine-like Shirou is.

I'd say the Shirou v. Saber Alter fight was true Master v. Servant fight for a good reason
1)He was designed to be Gil's contrast and counter, he also had the advantage of having Unlimited Blade Works.
2)Shirou was essentially shoving his ideals down Gil's throat, or in this case, his chest.
Shirou v Saber Alter was a no bullshit, one on one smackdown. Nothing but the swords in your hands, and the strategy you have in your mind. Shirou had the advantage over the other Servants(well except Archer, which was a clash of ideals), this one however, he beat with nothing but the skills he has (probably from Archer I think, or his swords), and with the grit he bit.
Well, there's that, which is one of the reasons I use to dislike it.
Well he stopped saber from coming back to Sakura for some minutes.
And if Sakura mentions the fact that Shirou ended up brain dead in that battle to Rin
perhaps that would give her the little push she needed to kill Sakura.
So still a bad end but you know, something is something.
But...muh happy ending D:!
Saber literally says in a bad end that Sakura ordered her to bring Shirou alive. She fought him fair and square, she COULD have force lightning'd him with Prana Burst and said fuck it to the duel. Or just put in the slightest bit more power into Excalibur and incinerated him.
For all intents and purposes, those two played it pretty fair for being cursed.
