I dunno, him losing Saber would be a good stopping point I think. "Day 09- What I should protect" feels like it would be better to help set the second movie up. Plus, Shirou getting medical treatment from Sakura would drive home the point that Saber is gone, especially with how Shirou reacts to Sakura's comments afterwards.

The loss of Saber is a big point for the story, sure, but thematically? It does not change much. Shirou STILL wants to play the superhero in the HGW. Zouken is still a big mystery. Sakura is still not involved in the story. Also, Rin visit at the Matou house is completely unconnected. Rider reappearing aiding Shirou is unexplained. Shinji is still believed to be Rider's Master. Day 9 is a good ending point because is a BIG climax and a turning point for the whole story, just like Sakura going crazy and abdupting Illya is a big turning point later.

Remember that if every movie is 2 hours long, that would be around 5 normal anime episodes with OP and ED. So, you could say Heaven's Feel got a 15 episodes series

I waited 7 years for this adaptation, I couldn't care less if a couple of things are summarized or cut.

Aside from SLH, none are that noteworthy compared to actually extending the runtime of an already short movie for the content it adapts IMO.

Remember that if every movie is 2 hours long, that would be around 5 normal anime episodes with OP and ED. So, you could say Heaven's Feel got at least a 15 episodes series

That's actually why I prefer series to movies, in the end it's more content.

Now, if the movie was 2.5 hours long, then yeah, ending at the end of day 9 would be fine. However, with only 2 hours it'd feel too cramped.

That's actually why I prefer series to movies, in the end it's more content.

OTOH a series has to cut and past the content to fill an episode with exactly 20 minutes of events, while a movie can be more deliberate with its pacing.

Looking at ufo Sakura reminds me how much I despise everything that is Shinji Matou. Just thinking about what did to her along with his personally and they way he treats people (especially her) urk me beyond no end. Of course I hate Zouken too, regardless Shinji easily takes the cake for my with most hated character in series.
