plumber Shirou
Shirou you're a terrible person
I saw it last week and didn't enjoy it much. The action scenes were great, but the pacing felt off. The transition between scenes were weird. I went with a friend who had only seen the UBW and Zero anime, and his sister who hasn't seen anything. I expected her not to understand, but my friend didn't understand anything either. I thought it was a great movie for people who had read the novel though, but only them.

The special hell on hill full of swords ---------------------------------------------------------The hill of bloody battlefield
Ahahahhahhahaha, she's losing! Even it wasn't severe but I'm glad the wank wasn't that strong so I can live with that. Also that sanic pacing practically ruin this movie.
And that Seiba slashed Achaa, precious.

While I'm glad they brought the movie to my country, I can attest that the spanish subtitles are shit. I lost count of all the mistakes they made. The movie was great tho.
I didn't quite notice anything particularly nonsensical? Assuming we're talking LatAm subs and not Spanish-as-in-Spain.
The use of english terms for stuff like Saber or such was weird tho.
And they couldn't fucking keep the tu/usted consistent.
Weird, I don't recall that. I wonder if we had different subs?
Exactly what those people on Reddit said. Lancer shrugging off the dirks and Assassin going "I have protection from arrows" was so WTF that I could see several people shaking their heads at the same time. (At least I could identify the ones who read the VN)
Also, inconsistencies. If you translate "Master" to "Maestro" then don't go around throwing a random "Master" just because.
Overall it felt like an amateur fansubbing.
Bad translations will be the undoing of FSN.
burn your dread you coward
Huh, French sub for the movie was okay/good, didn't have WTF typos like you.
Yes, a Latin american one. I didn't consider the subtitles (as I already knew the dialogues I didn't focus much on the accuracy of them), so that might have been it.
I told him I could explain the parts he didn't understand as I already knew the story, but he said he didn't understand a thing. Mostly because of the fast transitions post-prologue. Maybe it wasn't that it was badly explained, but the jump from the OP was very unexpected, and from then on he was confused. As he was trying to figure out exactly how much they skipped, more scenes were very short BUT with a lot of information.
Spoiler:
It was like the movie didn't give enough time to process what happened between scenes.
Hope the BD can make the pacing not feel weird

Hmm, the Taiwanese sub was perfect, not a single mistake and they even have skill names accurately translated.
Oh and it was amazing seeing FGO trailer in the IMAX screen.
From what I heard the Malaysian English sub was terrible as well, with noble Phantasm translated as "Treasure Tool" as well as other funny translations.
