Zabaniya looks pretty neat and shinji is still an asshole as ever

I can't watch the movie yet but I thought it was always like that?
I mean when he uses it against Saber she cuts his hand before it gets to her and it prevents Delusional Heartbeat from working so I always assumed he needed to touch the target to make the copy. Also that's how it looks in GO.

Oh yeah when the spirit bomb just kinda floated off into a void inside the shadow and Rin was like "IMAGINARY NUMBER SPACE?!", that wasn't in the VN right? I thought that was neat

in the VN its like, caster's corpse shows for a second and then sliced and diced by both saber and archer
there wasnt a scene with rule breaker too. i suppose they added it there because they skipped the one where shirou saw rule breaker in the temple like how it was originally in the VN. Neat rearrangement. Foreshadowing ho.

But then some other ??? in my head pop up:
unlike in the VN where Caster corpse is like, barely functioning under Zouken's control, but here she makes s-s-s-sun explosion. Zouken OP?
and more importantly, Zouken make her to activate her NP, even if it is a corpse. That also feels very OP
and then i remember nasu tweeted once that RB needs to have its name said to works which is even more ???????

Did Zouken gets, like, triple strengthening quests by ufotable or was it just locked behind interludes

Yeah, that's how I remember it working. It doesn't need direct contact. At least that's how I remembered it.

You might have a point about the Rule Breaker thing. But Zouken Caster should have all her abilities as the VN states and she did use magecraft against Saber but you know, MR A rank. And they didn't really use a CG for it.

i mean in the VN, there was no touchy feely happening. Lancer was already jumping in the air before immediately after that assassin already crushes his heart from like 30 meters away

also i realize that in the movie, Cu already done invoking Gae Bolg's name when fighting hassan, but then I also realize they made him do the pose of throwing version
if it was the hearstab version (and maybe closer range?) wouldnt he have won in the movie

actually nevermind, now that i rechecked all the other zabaniya scene's text, hassan do need to get close and do a "grabbing heart from opponent chest" sortof act. my bad.

Hassan already had his heart so it won't matter, and Cu can't get close to Hassan because the tentacle monster

I just see the movie with my best luck in a very very long time. I just arrive in the cinema only for curiosity and what I found? Is having a projection of weekend-only of FSN Heaven's Feel and I just was like OMG. Yeah, was totally random. Oh, and Reflection the next month.

Oh, the movie is visually beautiful, and yeah, seems expensive. The expressions and body language was top-notch, and of course the fights, my always favorite part of Ufotable anime. But I have some commentaries and observations:

- I understand the purpouse, but were 30 mins of prologue. I don't know how I feel about that.

- I appreciate that they fast-forward the star of the war. Yeah, I have seen it a pair of times. And I would like to assume that all the people of arrive in the cinema for own will too, but isn't like that.

- Yeaaah, the movie is not friendly with new viewers (and not TM fans -"IMAGINARY SPACE"- lol).

- And I think that I saw a episode of a mother leaving the cinema after realizing of the movie wasn't a kids movie.

- After many year I could see Zabaniya in all glory. And yeah, that need touch to the target to work. If not, it would be ridiculously OP.

- Ah, the Mapo Tofu scene, after many years, and yeah looks a bit spicy.

- And the Shadow looks good even in CG. And the scene where Shirou touch it was well adapted, I couldn't have asked for something better.

- And Saber Alter, someday. Kinda funny that she have appeared in a few TM works except with the original.

- Lack of the Illya scene. For the next movie I hope.

- The movie cut in appropriate place I think.
