Prisma Illya was just genius though, they knew that it was the shitty camrips that were destroying their profit, so they just released a way to rent the movie online during the cinematic screenings, so people could get decent quality screencaps from their downloaded file and nobody would bother with the camrips and while it's not allowed to spread links on BL for pirated anime are we all going to pretend like most of the people on BL bought BDs for all of their anime?

Anyway, movie actually seems to look great, probably the highlight of TM content in awhile.

I'm not expecting anything to happen, I just don't think prisma guys were particularly worried about camrips when they literally released something so easily recorded/ripped.

Also my entire point is that unless BL has become a very different site, this is not really the place to start moralizing whether everyone here is 'legit' .

Fansites discuss leaked screens, mention when something gets ripped and post the occasional video and after all of that most people on the site who are able still go to watch the movie anyway. I just don't think this is where we need someone to go "well if we keep looking at these screens you might not get any more movies" when something gets posted just because they are an official employee now.

E: Or should we discuss the morality behind fan translations and the relation to piracy there next.

I feel if your country has a problem with people having an easy time recording movies or more likely employees of the cinema doing it themselves and uploading it online. Talking about said recordings on a relatively small fansite will do little to nothing to stop or encourage airing future movies in your country.

So sure condemn camrips, don't jump at someone posting a screenshot of one on here.

Personally I think especially in murrika where the entire anime scene exists in this size and profitability provably only because piracy is a thing the kind of crusading at play is a bit silly. But at least Aniplex isn't like Crunchyroll and actually the subsidiary of a legitimate company so the hypocrisy is a bit less stinging.

Really, just apply common sense guys, don't post clips and full rips. We're going to be the ones in trouble then. Just make the one necessary turn, link to the thread on another forum where it's linked at or an imgur album and you're already doing us a favor.
