I remember the time where each Kajiura's piece felt individual for me

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't find Kajiura's recent tracks same-y/mediocre. I enjoy everything she makes.
They can't all be KnK-tier, but her "eh" stuff are still multiple levels above Fuakasawa's UBW for me.
The last time Kajiura OST was exciting for me was the Madoka Movie.
It's a shame that they didn't choose KATE (even if he and his group never did soundtracks for anime, his work on F/GO is pretty good so far too.), I don't think Kajiura fits F/SN very well.
But oh well, she is famous in the industry and attracts people (like Sawano) and has history with Ufo/TM , so it's to be expected I guess.
I like Yuki Kaijura's music, I thought that Princess Principal's and Fate/Zero's soundtracks were amazing and were a good fit for them.
Spoiler:
for me, past ubw it just really get muddied for some reason
cant even remember what was PP's ost sounds like

I like how Fukusawa made Deep Slumber very heroic-like, and yet retained the sad tone about it.
I felt like the Cu v Assassin fight was being used as a kind of foreshadowing to what would happen to Saber.
Also it was likely throwing a bone to Cu fans since he pretty famously gets screwed over in HF

Spoiler:
Watched the movie yesterday, and I guess I'll offer my two cents since most everyone on /a/ is saying it's "typical Kajiura."
2 tracks were remixes of Point Zero (or whatever F/Z track was remixed in UBW. One of the remixes was played when Shirou was talking to Kirei and Saber about Kiritsugu having participated in the 4th HGW, so I can understand it's use there.) I wouldn't say most of the tracks were too memorable, with the exception of the song that played over the montage covering the common route events at the beginning of the movie, as well as the song that played when Rider faced True Assassin, which was REALLY good (and it sounded reminiscent of an OST from the VN,) didn't sound like Kajiura at all. However, I'd say the tracks, while not too memorable the first time around, really helped in setting the atmosphere during many scenes throughout the movie.
IMO UBW's OST consisted of a lot of ambient noise and Hollywood-esque tracks that made a lot of scenes feel empty (with the exception of Journey and the VN remixes, which were really nice.) HF's OST had an intense guitar and Kajiura's signature choirs adding to some of the fight scenes. The violins and percussion instruments really helped during the brutal moments, the scene with Assassin killing Caster and Kuzuki being a highlight and perhaps the darkest moment in any Fate adaptation to date because of how it was executed. IIRC a lot of the slow, character-focused moments were either silent or had a lot of violins in the background.
One complaint that I had, however, was that I noticed that a lot of scenes didn't have any music, and while in some cases it was deliberate and worked to reinforce the heavy atmosphere, I felt that some others could have really benefited from music.
So overall, I'd say nothing as phenomenal as the better KNK tracks, but there were a few that either deviated from what one would expect from Kajiura or were fairly atmospheric. I'd say it's more diverse than Fate/Zero's OST already. HF's atmosphere felt a lot more like the VN's than UBW's did (and heavier than Zero's too,) but I'm expecting more from movie 2 in terms of OST.
I wonder if Kajiura will do a remix of the Emiya OST for movie 2.
