More specific impressions (or impressions I'm willing to devote time to expressing NOT too much further past bedtime) are pending, so sorry, Winter.
Meanwhile, I can definitively say Presage Flower was great... and in fact, I have a feeling I'll love it even more after seeing it again this coming Thursday.
See, having been so used to the "epic" atmosphere of Apocrypha and other similar action anime I've seen lately, I guess I forgot how interpersonal character drama-centric (and 'mundane' via the SOL and school elements) Fate/stay night is, so the prologue (which was full of the mundane) initially had me a bit uneasy, or impatient. I knew how important those earlier scenes were with establishing character and such, naturally, but still, it was quite the contrast with, say, the latest episode Apocrypha. I ended up getting used to it soon enough, though-- enough so that later scenes that involved more of the 'mundane' (like the shed conversation between Shirou and Sakura by the kerosene heater, or Emiya household SOL events) pulled me into the film even more-- so I'm sure the second viewing will only heighten my enjoyment of those earlier scenes.
