The VA might be the same but it doesn't necessarily mean the voice will be the exact same. Also, not an expert in Sub vs Dub in Fate, but as someone that prefers subs I can't complain about same VAs in dubs when every Goku lookalike is voiced by Nozawa.

The casting is bad because it doesn't help to differentiate them. Just a quick look up in twitter/reddit/mal whatever and people don't even know there are multiple Hassans, instead you get "he's back from Zero omg." That's why I hope they use the same guy for Serenity in the future, gotta give the same voice to all Hassans in english to be consistent.

I also had some warped ideas, but once I started actually watching it didn't take long to realize. This is honestly something on the viewers. The only way the dub can be blamed is if the translation itself is a massive trainwreck.

It's common misconception among the viewer. Many people think "Hey It's one of the Hassan from Fate Zero!" "It must be Hassan who survive Rider's NP!" etc etc

Finally got the chance to watch the movie.

First of all the beginning was great, the entire flashback was a treat, though I think people's reactions to Shinji's characterization and expressions were highly exaggerated, they were cool but definitely not the highlight of the movie, not even of that section.

The transition between common route and HF was handled... well enough, nothing amazing and there are definitely things I felt like shouldn't be missing, but otherwise a good job. Also, regarding Saber vs Berserker and some other fights, I did not enjoy that rock soundtrack, didn't work at all for me.

Lancer vs Assassin was entertaining and looked great (except for that truck...), fighting in the middle of a highway was dumb but didn't bother me much because this whole fight feels like just eye-candy without reason really, I would much rather they kept their confrontation short, shocking and impactful like it was in the VN, as a bonus it would give them some precious time to spend on some other scenes.

The best part of the movie was definitely the introduction of the Shadow, it was great to see my friends have the exact same reactions I had when I first read that scene, just incredible all around, my only nitpick is that I would've liked Shirou's vision to have lasted longer in each image, but still, it's a minor grievance.

Showing Alter at the end was... Ugh. I don't like it, I want it to be a surprise, I want people to feel the same shock Shirou feels when she appears later. I know it's pointless at this point and that everyone knows about and has seen her in either Kaleid or FGO or whatever but I can't help it.

Also a lot of Shirou's muscles on screen, 10/10 movie for that.

Please don't remind me that Taneda suffered exhaustion due to voicing 4 different characters, of which one is the female lead and 2 summer versions of her characters, making it 6.

Also, the selling point for me is how the story is handled. I'm not into the Servants and the power levels, as they got their spotlight already.

I wish that they had lengthened it like Sudou wanted, since it will give him more time to flesh out the story and give it the treatment it deserves.
