Something I forgot to mention last night, but I think Shinji's performance was the best of the lot for the dub. I really liked him here.
In the actor interview thing before the show you could really tell Crispin Freeman "gets" Kirei and I'm glad for that. And Bryce Papenbrook made a "people die when they are killed" joke and I wanted to die

How did Kari do as Saber? Glorious as always? Did Sakura sound good too?

No problems with Kari at all, great as always. Alter sounded pretty good, I really liked her take even if it was just a handful of lines. I think she sounded a bit different from First Order but I only watched that once.
I think Sakura sounded slightly on the young side. She sounded barely different from 5(?) year old Sakura in Zero. But I really liked Cristina Vee's performance in the scene where she was angry at Saber for Shirou being hurt, the way she got across the cold anger was really well done and now I'm looking forward to Dark Sakura because of that.
Sakura sounded really good in UBW dub, hopefully, she stayed like that for HF!
What about Rin? I really disliked her voice in UBW, did anything change in her acting?

You know somethimg about Rin sounded off to me. I usually like her dub voice, and I don't think it was anything was especially different here, but for some reason she just didn't click with me this time.
Lancer too. Same actor as always, and the performance wasn't really different, but he just sounded off.
Im actually fine with him as Shirou (though I preferred Sam Riegel) but that joke was painful
Kyle McCarley is a good voice actor, that wants less roles like this actually.

That's not the exact wording but that was the gist of it.
I've been sort of hesitant this time around-- already saw the movie twice in theaters last year-- but I suppose I'll forgo a third viewing via more illicit means (even though I already have immediate access to the product of those means). Yeah, instead, I guess I'll see the dub in theaters, now with a friend outside my family in tow. Between the multiple expensive movie tickets and the eventual US BD release, I'll be spending more than I thought I would on one of three Heaven's Feel films...
Just I won't have my mood unexpectedly sour at the end, Id really like to know-- was the ED theme (Hana no Uta) subbed this time as the credits played? I was disheartened to not see it subbed during the first U.S. premiere, and I have concerns that it may still not be subbed come the U.S. BD release. I'm sure I've harped on this before,you but I'm still annoyed by how Madoka Magica: Rebellion's OP/ED weren't subbed on BD, even though they were in theaters...

The entire adaptation is trash compared to the original, which is trash compared to the other two routes in the VN, which is trash when compared to the broader spectrum of literary works.
