Now i see it again it looks like that Heracles is besides Alter, so perhaps Archer is facing him and not gil.
If you look closely, you'll see Assassin there in the poster in front of Archer. It's Archer vs Assassin.

Do Archer and Assassin fight in the VN? Honestly don’t remember that at all, but neither did I remember the caster puppet scene.

Archer fights Assassin in the forest to cover the retreat of Shirou, Rin and Illya. They exchange some blows, then Archer cuts Assassin mask and he retreats. Then he push away Rin from an attack of the shadow and it's pierced on the chest.
After this, the shadow explodes

Something I couldn't see in the potato quality version: Shirou is following a bird through Einzbern Forest. My guess is, Illya gives him the bird early on and says "use this if you need to get to my castle." Then when the time comes for the first Einzbern Forest visit, Shirou brings it along, and it activates and starts guiding him to Einzbern Castle. (there may or may not be an awkward scene where Shirou explains to Sakura why he accepted an expensive-looking gift from another girl)
In the window next to Gilgamesh, you can see a bed with someone in it - probably Sakura during the scene where Kirei operates on her.
Heh? I though Gil come alone and try killing Sakura, while Kirei operate on Sakura is an event after that?
