As someone who was there the crowd was pretty obnoxious at times. I remember Shitaya saying at the start how confused she was at one person's extremely loud "YEAH!!" for Shinji when he appeared on the character slideshow thing before the movie started.
Public face and private face. Saw a guy doing a review on Youtube who says he met her at a showing and tried to get a low key autograph (though he said supposedly, that is a no go for contractual reasons or something).
What would be interesting is her reaction at home with hubby about the filthy masses whopping about 2-d bosoms.
I don’t think it’s farfetched to think she genuinely liked hearing reactions during the movie. She’s seen the movie in japan already, and its not like she’s there trying to dedicate her fullest focus to analyze the movie so that she can post on internet forums about how it needed more monologues.
Hell, some people actually watch youtube anime live reactions for goodness sake.

Guess I just don't like fight scenes headed by Miura then considering how many of the UBW anime ones were meh.
He's clearly a style and flash above substance kind of guy, which kind of makes me worried about how more than half of the battles in Spring Song would simply put rule of cool above anything else. This wasn't really a problem in Presage Flower and Lost Butterfly since none of the big fights in those were really all that significant in terms of story.
