I feel it's stronger than the first movie's but it also feels even more like F/Z. The movie does have a lot of dark scenes though, so it had the chance to utilize more unnerving tracks. When I mentioned Sakura's masturbation scene and how it was just Sakura washing her hands after that, the scene had a very uncomfortable soundtrack that highlighted how dark the whole thing was becoming, made it less awkward to see in the theater.

In the movie, Sakura is more likeable compared to the VN? (based from the Days of HF the movie covered) Or no matter what, even with the movie Sakura fanbase will still remain divised?
Disappointed but not surprised to hear about Illya's reduced role. HF has always been known as the Sakura route after all, and the advertisements have all been about her. Makes me worry for the emotional impact of Illya's role in the climax but yeah, not surprised.
If you like how Sakura was portrayed in the first movie then I feel like you will like how she was portrayed in this film as well.
Sakura's fanbase will always be divided.
I'm not a wormfag myself, but I think the movie makes me understand her more. I can start to appreciate HF as worm's route rather than in spite of being her route

That's awesome to hear for me, F/Z is one of my most favorite Kajiura OSTs. Presage Flower felt like a strange mix of Kajiura and Fukasawa, so the more it leans on the "Kajiura-ness", the better.
