I don't know if people recall, but back when the first movie came out on blu-ray, I did a compilation of all the various scenes from that short sequence. Christ, am I glad the rabbit isn't there, though.

It's never been about Shinji

I'm dumb for not realizing it earlier but I just found out how similar that last scene of the movie is to the beginning of the Eclipse from Berserk, from how both Guts/Shirou cried out Griffith's/Sakura's name in vain while desperately trying to reach them and the latter succumbing to their darkness.
Good stuff
Hey what's with Gil's revealation face before he's eaten?

I really wish Ufotable would change their nose design to how it used to be in Zero and most of the KnK movies. There isn't anything wrong with having a decently-defined nose, God damn it.
Agreed. It kind of works when Takeuchi does it because he rarely draws complete profile/side shots of the characters which the movies have to include in some scenes, making the noses look pretty jarring. Still feel that the overall character designs have improved compared to UBW though (especially Rin and Shirou).
F/Z had the benefit of more male characters that had pronounced face models, true that the nose squiggles were better still.

Also, I would take Iskander's T H I C C nose over Archer's beak any day.

Sorry but this is ufo, it's Shinji's route now

Jokes aside he is definitely meant to be one of the main characters in the first 2 movies at least, so that excuse doesn't really work. They didn't put him 3rd in the credits and give him a monologue drama CD for nothing.
Sudou is a generous dude then. Too bad there will still be people saying, "welp, he hates everyone but Sakura" and repeat that ad nauseam.
Dude seems like he just wants to get everything he can out of the story in the short time they've given him.
Yeah from the interviews I never got the feeling that Sudou only likes Sakura, he seems to put a lot of thought into everyone.
Still hoping for more Illya content though.
Besides, and I'll be a little terse here, but anyone salty enough to hate good direction and decent ACTUAL FUCKING PROMOTION for one of the main heroines, can kick rocks.
If a director is a fan of the work being done and halfway decent, it's good for everybody.
Wondering but any clues on the potion that Shinji gave Sakura. After being hinted at two movies straight I'm curious what's it's about. That or I'm just misremembering something from the VN
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
get the same what
is that fucking promotion as in Fucking promotion or freaking promotion
gomen i missed the last few pages
UBW i dont really get, Fate i do, but that still has time to happen.
Rin never really had much focus in her own route anyways, which was a big problem of the VN i thought...there's only so much you can ask a director to elaborate on there.
Of course ive also seen people mad about ignored Illya scenes and such, so its not all people main heroine whining...but Sakura did have potential with her role in the story, and so the director choosing to elaborate on her and Shirou's relation more and her perspective only makes sense for these movies, even if there is legitimate issue with other scenes from the VN being shafted in return
