UBW had a lot of promotion and Fate in its day had a good deal too. Miura said he liked Rin as well.
And to be fair HF had it's own limitations with being a movie format as opposed to a TV series, so I think it's about even here.
TM kinda fell off with the Sakura promoting hard, so bias aside, it should be more even now.

well fate 06 is looked at as black history now of course, despite the nostalgia factor and kawaii kenji...but that's a problem of the current era, and why its not enough.
If we're just talking specifically about heroine promotion(and not route promotion), what Sakura is getting now with HF is only natural
I don't even agree about what some people say about Illya in this movie. I think for the time she had (and she had quite a bit) she was handled pretty well for what her role should be. This is a movie, of course everything has to be more focused.
They even added the whole Taiga scene for it to flow better.

Yeah, no, his character still exists for Sakura, with part time jobs as being a former friend of Shirou's and a ridiculously minor antagonist. They put him in the credits and gave him a drama CD for fanservice.

The Heaven's Feel movies have been more heavily marketed than other Fate adaptations due to the combination of the fact that they're theatrical films and that the creative leads seem to be working more closely with Type-Moon than others in recent projects like Apocrypha (at least that's the impression I get, someone please correct me). I wasn't around for the UBW movie, so I can't say how much it was promoted comparatively, but HF has definitely generated more buzz than other recent TM anime.

Wasn't Miura known for not exactly having great directing for UBW though?
I'll certainly say the HF movies have better faces and noses for sure.

for what it was, i thought UBW was fine...maybe protracted pacing here and there, but there are limited amounts of things to do about that

That reminds me, Spring Song is suppose to start off with the scene where eventually Sakura gets off tentacle bondaging Rin. Since they streamlined the appearance it’ll be Dark Sakura doing it too.
