I'm not actually 100% sure if this is just one movie or a series of them right now, so playing it safe with the thread title. Hopefully a mod can change the thread name if it's confirmed to be a series later.

- One of the character designers, Tomonori Sudou, is a Sakura lover of the first order. They also decided the movie format because HF would have to be toned down in TV and they believe that would ruin the charm of the route.

Sudou is one of the character designers for FSN 2014 and the director/animation director/character designer of Mirai Fukuin, among past roles. We can probably pencil him in for a major role on HF already.

More broadly, a film adaptation means ufotable won't have to deal with TV censorship standards. There's a lot more than boobs in HF that could've ended up on the cutting room floor.

Now we just hope it's a series of movies like KnK so it won't be hopelessly rushed.
