Sex is a natural part of any romantic relationship. It’s a act of intimacy that pretty meaningful in the context of Sakura’s abuse and feelings of abandonment that she can commit to it with the person she loves and loves her. Like, the clip from what I see is incredibly tame to show only what’s necessary and it’s still too much apparently.

I think people need to separate their minds from the vulgarities of sex culture and just take things in as it is.

Well, they did animate the one physical scene between Masters in lost butterfly.

So I'm sure Kirei vs. Shirou will be a piece of cake to them.

The general impression I had from reading different social media was that people were happy with how the movie displayed the sex scene, and for how tactful it is. Most people that I read their reaction to it think it works and its more wholesome than lewd. There isn't really a "wish they just take out the sex entirely" reaction outside of a few people here and there, and some complaining that Rin never got a similar thing during UBW. And there were some who weren't happy with how little it showed in HF.

So, its not really an outcry, so much as dissident opinions

Personally I was more irritated they didn't seem to even kiss. For Ufotable UBW Rin & Shirou.

From what I remember in the original, before the sex scene starts, that Rin actually kisses Shirou happily there. There wasn't even anything like that in the Epilogue scene.

It's funny, I've gotten used to driving 5 hours back home to visit my parents. It makes me laugh nowadays when I felt driving 2 hours to see the version in LA was too much for me.

Was that in realta nua or the OG? In any case, at the very least, you can be happy for cuddly times.

Having a well adapted route by ufotable and lots of fluff is much better than the alternative

I ship Shirou x Rin as much as the next guy but for me that nude cover they for the last episode's guide or whatever it was is enough for me.

I was expecting ufo!HF to be sexier than ufo!UBW anyway. Not only is it a movie but given the route's more uncomfortable themes it is appropriate.
