The fight actually made me think that why that hadn't been done before since it's so cool. Yes the taint is AM, but the portal opening and shunting the weapons would be hers I would think. She does after all, sink a bunch of Avenger zombies into the void in Hollow, so why portal opening and those odd holodeck like abilities aren't talked about more I don't know why.
But if we are being real here, we know Gil has dimension warping weapons. Which kinda made me think why he doesn't get the same munchkin criticism Archer/Shirou does with projection when he has so many 'No u" buttons, it kinda makes matchup discussion less fun.
Since there are plenty of people who want to do so, and have done Sakura art in the past, he probably won't feel as sidelined because if he is a fan, he would appreciate good art from another fan.
That, and who knows, that slight those idiots on Twitter gave him probably would affect whatever he tried to make, so no good for anyone.
I think Aotsuki would still do the art, if they don't listen to people begging for NP skip they're not going to listen to people going "hey this artist who's worked with you for 15 years should die".

Wow, that's a dick statement.
Probably because no one quite knew just what Sakura could do since I think everyone was mistaking her abilities as more an application of Matou stuff/Angra Mainyu than anything else.
Granted from what has been mentioned by you and others, we can slowly start to figure out how her abilities could be used practically.
In addition, at least here, one issue may be that since she appeared to be sort of under the influence when doing the portal stuff there, we don't know if she can do that style of shielding herself consciously or easily.
I think it's because we expect Gil to be OP, to have everything. So of course he would have those dimension warping weapons. With Shirou & Archer, they have a number of possible limitations that probably allow people to say they're muchkining or not I guess.

For me it looks more as if Shinji is the actual climatic final boss. That or Shirou being ready to start the groping and Shinji is conflicted about it.
