It's weird how unhyped I am for Okita Alter. The only reason I didn't throw my 40 quartz at Tamalancer again was because I thought 'Eh, picking up the new Assassin guy or Li might be worth it even if I can't get Okita.' But I think that's actually a good thing since it means I have no real urge to spend money here.
I don't really care for Okita Alter but will roll with the tickets for farming tools anyway.
Frankly Okita Alter feels like one of those cheap MUGEN characters that are so overpowered and cheaply done, at least by looking at her NP animations before the laser beam, so I'm not precisely motivated to get her. I'm more aiming for Izo and maybe my first Emiya, about time I get one.
I will reserve judgment until release but I find limited Izo extremely annoying

Izou talks tough but break easily under interrogation is a famous event.
My interest in OkitaAlt will lessen a great deal if she indeed has 0% Nobu in her make up.
Also have very little to no interest on her Co-Gacha Servants so rolling isn't that appealing at all if not for the nifty looking new farming CEs.

I'm not hyped for Okita Alter at the moment for a few reasons. First, her shoes are clown-shoes. Second, waiting a week after the announcement has killed a lot of hype. Third, Okita's personality was part of what made her so fun and interesting, so I'll need to see how different Alter is before knowing if I'll enjoy her or not. If she's just "Take this existing character, and make them EDGY AND DARK", then I won't bother.
This is probably amoung one of the worst thing in the history of TM.

I mean I love Aoi's serious acting, but Okita Alter felt more like Okita+Nobu. Oh well, at least we get free Ryouma.
I mean, if I recall correctly, even in the retconned backstory for her she's still technically 1/7 Nobu.
As for hype, I'm not really very hyped...mainly because if I hype myself and fail to roll someone, I end up disappointed and salty, so I'm containing my hype levels. Plus I want to see if her final art holds up against Okita's superior one. Still, while the Okita + Nobu idea was neat and all, that was never a deal breaker for me, and I never expected that to show up in the game (wasn't even the retconned backstory made specifically so she could be put in FGO?). But I feel I'm of a minority about that.
I really miss old Koha-Ace era where Keikenchi could do whatever he wanted, and those Sega jokes.

Honestly, yeah. Keikenchi should've just kept to his principle and don't retcon Majin Saber. We love parodies too you see.
