That's the catch, she's the right Servant for so many things in the game

Personal experience? Useless against bosses since she dies too quickly and against berserkers and foreigners. Not wanting to say she is bad, but there are occasions where she is not right for the job, and there are many of them.

Well, that I agree since I love using Raikou with black grail+buffs from Merlin x 2 and Waver x 1 and 3 seals to clear those irritating challenges lately.

I feel like trying to do Chiyome with only knights so many times had broken me by then so I might have just cs'd my way through.

Cu Alter's tankiness was very valuable to me early on. I don't think Raikou could have done for me what he did.

Also wow I did not know that the Nobus got voiced lines in the story. That is amazing.

After wasting more quartz Majin Saber getto daze.



This time I was way luckier, got NP3 Emiya, NP1 Tomoe, NP1 Nursery, NP1 Vlad Extra and NP3 Izou with her. Oh and my very first MLB event gatcha 5* CE.

But I'm taking the event slowly, still at 36/100.

Yeah, just like how various mooks have raped my Raikou thanks to critical and target concentration. Luck is the issue here.

The best thing about Cu Alter, and the reason why he's so far the best Berserker in the 5* department, is that his survivability is amazing and he doesn't trade it for lower damage output because of his Gorilla Buster deck, his NP and his ridiculous high ATK. Meaning that unlike other Berserkers, it's very easy for him to survive specially if you add a support there, while delivering constant high damage all the time. This allows him to be more flexible in what party you want to put him with, without being required to use Merlin and Waver shenanigans to guarantee that he survives (you can still do it if you want to break the game of course).

Just to put an example, in the Kiara fight I started with Cu Alter on the front, with level 6 skills. He was the only one alive at the end, thanks to the fact that I was looping between his dodge and his Guts, while using Mashu and his first skill to lower the damage he took as much as possible. This is impossible with Raikou, as Raikou only has a dodge for one turn, and she has to sacrifice the Buster Up if you want to use it, something that you may not be willing to do.

Despite that, Raikou is still one of the best Berserkers in the game, simply because Raikou can easily clear any wave due to her ridiculous damage with her AoE NP, plus unlike Cu Alter she can actually crit without requiring a ridiculous amount of stars to guarantee her cards get them. Problem is, if the boss has multiple bars, there's a high chance she won't last until the end simply because she's very fragile, at most she can pull off her NP once and that's it. Of course, you can just do what tons of people do in Youtube that feel it's super amazing to show, which is spam her AoE NP constanty with double Waver and Merlin, effectively removing all challenge in the fight.
